How long should I wait to drink alcohol after taking 400mg of diphenhydramine?

I took 400mg of Benadryl at 4:00 am and slept it off until about 9:00 pm. How log should i wait to drink?

Its a trick question because you should NEVER take that much. I can't imagine it being good for you at all. Are you trying to hallucinate? I did this as a kid. It was retarded and I felt sick and probably didn't help my liver but I did it a few times to be cool. Still embarrassed to this day.

I would wait at least a day.

According to www.nhtsa.gov, the half life of diphenhydramine is 8.5±3.2 hours. I normally wait at least 5 half lives if I do not want interaction between what I have taken and what I am taking in the future. To be honest, I too did about 360mg a couple of times, and the noticeable effects last about a couple days. I would wait at least that long before you consume alcohol.

Yeah I used to do this when I was younger too, stupid and desperate to get high/trip. That shit is horrible, I've tripped balls though, seem zombies and shit come out of the darkness and dissapear into the light, talking to people that werent there, seeing animals I knew running around, seeing translucent spiders crawling all over me. Cemented to the floor. It's a weird fucking trip man. Very very similar to Datura (moon flowers). horrible terrible nasty shit. I will never willingly take those amounts again as long as i live. Go score some real drugs man, jesus.
