I finally quit a 6 year opiate habit (5 on heroin, 6 months bupe and finally 6 months Kratom). I found a lot of helpful threads about supplements and especially amino acids. The amount I?m taking is only slightly leas than what they recommended, but I?m 9 weeks clean now and wondering if I still need to take them or what amounts. For acute withdrawal most were suggesting 1000mg 3x day of taurine, lysine, glutamine, arginine, DMG, and then add tyrosine and DLPA for PAWS. obviously I feel a lot better now but still experience lots of mental and physical fatigue, shitty sleep (around 6 hours of it), and general body discomfort. Thank god the anxiety is FINALLY gone.
Should I still be taking these? Much less? What do you guys do?
