i've been using since last monday, today i woke up and had some joint pain, was kinda cold and my mood is kinda depressing...is it h w/d?i've been using 3-4 times a day...my heartbeat is a bit high also

Yes sounds like heroin withdrawal.
If you can hold out a week or so things should get back to normal pretty quickly but the more you use to cover it up the worse off your be in the long run.

Either finish that last stuff off/ throw it out or do something with it where its not tempting you because when you won't be able to sleep at night while sweating, shivering cold and flailing around your legs you are going to want to end the pain by doing some heroin and if you have it on you I don't see many people not reaching for it. This is if you truly want off. Tomorrow will most likely be worse than today since you will not have much if any sleep tonight and usually people can hardly sleep the whole time they are withdrawaling from heroin.
Bad stuff eh man now you see why junkies have such a hard time getting off imagine this 10×, worse because you have been running from withdrawals the last decade using heroin. Bad stuff man it never ends well in the dope game in my opinion anyways.

Wait this is gonna get worse?I'm using for a week man not longer

It very well could man in my experience the 3rd day is the absolute worst. This is in my experience and other addicts seem to say the same thing. Now because your just starting to become addicted it won't be as bad as others but you will have trouble sleeping without sleep meds and it makes you feel even shittier without slepp in my opinion.

Youll be fine just throw what you have away, and stay away from ppl that use it. Give yourself 24 hours I garuntee you that in 24 hours you will be feeling significantly bettter.

you could always send me what you have left instead of throwing it away :D~~

lmao jk, but it MAY be withdrawal. my first week long binge ended up like that but i was so scared it was withdrawal that i called a suboxone doctor and was put on a suboxone taper plan.

looking back I probably wouldnt have had withdrawals or maybe some minor restlessness and sleeplessness which is a pain in the ass but not hard to deal with once youve accepted the fact that you have to get off.

just get rid of it and find some benzos and weed and you wont even notice the withdrawals.

I dont think the OP will go thru hardly any wd at all, if he has only been using for one week, IMO thats not long enough for ones body to get dependent on it, you may have some very mild discomfort, and maybe keep waking up a few nights, but Id say you wont have much problems.

Ive been using for well over a decade, and Im feeling good now, but 2 days ago, it was absolute HELL, laid in bed trying to sleep all night, but ended up sweating alot, then freezing cold, the sweat also smelled nasty, combine that with stale cigarette smell that never seems to go away when wd ing, oh yea, the worst, the hypersensitivity and sitting there dry heave puking, cuz I didnt feel up to eating for 2 days, that is the nastiest feeling to dry heave saliva for 20 minutes!!!

Everyone's sensitivity to opioid withdrawal is different, and it also depends on how heavily they use/the purity/their lifestyle etc...

Day 3 is the worst, I'm on day 10… Finally not feeling psychotic, but that's just me. It really depends on severity of use, amount … roa etc. If you have been using less than a week you might be okay. It seems like your system is starting to tolerate and/or adapt to it and you could be the very beginning of starting to build a tolerance… Everyone is different … but if you stop now, you might be off for a day or 2 but probably won't experience full blown withdrawal…

Generally the length of time does not play much of a role in PHYSICAL withdrawal symptoms its what your tolerance was at when ceasing the use of drugs. For example if someone used 500 mgs of oxy for one month and another user did only 250mgs a day but used for 1 year the person with the 500mg a day habit will be worse off than the person with the 250mg a day habit despite using for only a month and the other for a year. This is PHYSICAL withdrawal keep in mind the person with the year long habit will have more of a attachment to the drug and is used to using it daily for longer than the month long heavy user so they will be more likely to relapse after detox then the month long user will be. Now In this case its hard to tell what the OP will go through from a week of use we don't know if he's used much heroin in his life before or even how much he used the last week but he does she to just be getting sick for the first time and although it may see bad then we all know its nothing compared to what happens when we keep going and our tolerance raises to what seemed like insane amounts when we first started using.

^^

True, it's very relevant to account for one's history, and to not assume.
And length of time. I used for a year once, daily ... very minimal amounts of oxy (only at night) … and experienced hardly any withdrawal…

.

was thinking the same thing!

I agree with everyone here that is you honestly want to stop using for good and all you have to get rid of what you have, preferably by tossing it--If you give it to a user you know that person may linger in your life and if you have any sort of predilection for opiates it's best to avoid addicts, in my opinion. Many people may be stronger than I am but I relapsed after seven years clean and was shocked that was even possible, so you never know

ehh using for a week id say the majority of your withdrawals, which shouldnt be that bad to begin with will be iver within 3 days...you should just the beginner set of withdrawals like runny nose, low mood, no energy, hard time sitting still..just be lucky you havent used longer, then the pain would be more intense and would last longer..then you wouldnt have that extra just lying around in your pocket, it would be in your bloodstream and the only thought in your head would be when/how you are going to get more to last you the next few days...quit whily ou are ahead..
