How long for mild depression from opioid use stoppage to subside?

The past month has been crazy, I've been to the E.R. twice (*edit* for health issues) and have been taking (prescribed) percocets and vicodins almost everyday save the past week. I'm not asking about physical addiction, because I'm not addicted to them or going through withdrawals or anything, I've just been feeling down and kinda depressed. I feel like I want to take them even if I don't need them for pain, but I'm not going to. I feel like I don't know what to do almost, like a fucked up form of boredom. Anyways, how long until this passes?

Thanks

Really depends not much of a run so shouldn't be to bad.
the more distracted or busy you are the less you'll notice the negative feelings your describing

Yeah. A weeks use shouldn't leave that long of residual depression. Hell, a days use can have you feeling out of sorts for a week, especially with the anhedonia. So give it a week, maybe two until you get back to normal. It's always a poor idea to set a time frame for these kind of things in case the symptoms fade earlier or later than the time set but you'll be alright.

Some drug withdrawals have this unique ability to make you feel like the symptoms are innate and/or will never subside so keep that in mind.
