I usually take 40-90mg of adderall at a time. I never really binge. usually, I only take it no more than two days in a row. but this past week I dosed 60mg one day, 80 the next, and 90 the next and that resulted in me not sleeping for about 3 days and eating only a meal a day. (I ended up tripping off of sleep deprivation) but I have work tonight and I want to know if it would be safe to dose again? i haven't dosed in the past two or three days and i would only plan on dosing today and then stoping for about 3 more days.

How much should I consider dosing today if at all? and you think i could still get a nice euphoria effect of my dose? I felt really shitty two days ago but I know it was just the come down. I have some xanies to help with the come down now.

Thanks everyone! help is appreciated!

you should be alright but there is really no reason to dose that high, and the effects aren't going to be quite as good no matter what. you'll probably be more euphoric having taken less than more, because too much strain on that system will cause lousy side effects.

I never take adderall even two days in a row because the effects are a lot less, but dosing 3 days in a row will result in little effect especially with your doses escalating at the rate they were. I would just comedown when you can with the xanax and take a longer break than usual.

give it a good 4 weeks u should go back down to regular tolerance, however u develop a permanent tolerance of some sort from prolongued speed abuse, or dampened effects "loss of magic:

Hey, I;m going through the same issue. I don't binge, I just take to get "up" a few days here and there. The first time i was able to get high off 30, but it skyrocketed to about about 80 mg to really feel it, though sometimes did not at all. Recently, i've been taking about 3-4 day breaks in between usage in attempt to lower my tolerance. I prep for the next "adderall day" with a daily dose of magnesium glycinate supplements. I recommend you try that. I've heard a lot of positive reviews about magnesium helping to maintain -or maybe lower- your tolerance. There are a lot of forums on here supporting this and supplying a good amount of evidence that it helps. Check it out if you're interested. I think it has been helping, but nothing too substantial. I went from taking 80, 90 mg to feeling nothing but frustration over the lack of positive effects, anxiety and severe insomnia to a pretty smooth, good high (no means, was I geeked up like the first few times) After the first few breaks, I took 40 mg then went up 10 mg every 20 minutes until I felt content, which was at 60 mg. I finally got some good effects of adderall back.... Slight euphoria, I was temporarily relieved from social anxiety, i was talkative, had a more positive outlook, motivated, and my favorite of all effects- music euphoria.
I wouldnt keep dosing higher. Are you on any other medication, like an SSRI such as prozac? There's serotonin syndrome to worry about it.
I get insomnia pretty bad when I do something similar to what you did. Benadryl and advil pm help. From the google research I've done and my own personal experience, you should be okay to dose again. A few days break usually helps a bit. A few weeks would be ideal though to get that tolerance down! ANd if you do take an extended adderall holiday, try the magnesium to maintain that tolerance when you do start up again.
Good luck to ya

i tried dextromethorphan (cough syrup) and magnesium and ketamine for tolerance. none worked for amp tolerance, although my tolerance to everything else dropped. ive been on adderall for nearly 2 years now and i take 120 mg at a time or more (highest single dose was 180mg) needless to say, it started losing its 'magic' after the first year or so of taking it as prescribed. my tolerance shot up super fast and doesnt go away for very long periods of time. ive taken a 2 month break and noticed almost no decline in tolerance (ive taken magnesium supplements every day since starting on adderall, as well as L-DOPA, L-theanine, omega 3s, and a whole host of other supplements :P).
