Opioids How long does it take to get used to a new dose

Just a mad example say someone was taking 90mg oxycontin or 180mg morphine off the street and doctor.

They run out and only can get say oxycontin 30mg twice per day or morphine 60mg twice per day.

How long would it take to get used to a new dose could be any could be oxy to oxy 55 just examples.

Also if someone had been crushing the pills how bad would the withdrawal be and how long it take to not feel ill and function and take the tablets normally.

Depends on how big of a drop in dosage, how long the person has been at the previous dosage and personal variance (it's going to be different for everyone). So it's impossible to say for sure.

Whenever I try to drop dosage I usually feel crappy for about 3-5 days until my body readjusts to the new dosage. But this is with drops in dosage around 0-25%, larger percentage drops are more destabilizing and can take longer for my body to readjust too.
