about 2 days ago i had my last hit of heroin, i was doing about five bags a day for 6 weeks and before that 2-3 a day for a year. but 2 days ago my family got alerted by some Busy body that ive been doing heroin. for the first year i only ever Chased it, but the past 6 weeks have been Injected so the withdrawal is almost unbearable, i live in a family where they refuse to let me get on a methadone program and i personally would not like to be addicted to two opiates at once. but the pain is unbearable its in my Bones i cant sleep im sweating more in an hour than i have in my entire life. i was wondering how long the withdrawal usually lasts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

It feels like it will never end, but you should be feeling better by day four. Psychological symptoms may persist for a while longer. If you have something like Kratom or a mild sedative, that will help. Do not take any more opiates in the mean time, it will only delay your detox.

I feel for you, hang in there, it's almost over! Write a journal of exactly what you're feeling and keep it around so you don't forget how you're feeling right now the next time you're tempted to use.

Thanks, im currently just going through a rattle so its starting to get less painful. ive got nothing to help with it though 100% cold turkey.

Six days in and you're almost done really!

You will be feeling much better very soon most likely.
