I have just recently made the decision to quit using e once and for all. I am thankful for my experiences with it, because I feel that it, along with mush and cid showed me my true potential as far as who I can be as a human being. However enough is enough and I have decided its time to leave it behind and concentrate on life. I was wondering about you guys and how long you guys plan on using? Do you guys see yourself eventually stopping or is it something u dont plan on or even think about?... Discuss

Everything in moderation. I have only rolled once but I plan to continue using it on special occasions (raves, get together with really close friends, etc.) I love the feeling it gives me and it has helped me open up socially out in the real world. I probably see myself rolling until I get bored or until I have kids maybe?

I think that as long as the positives out weigh the negatives i will keep using it. moderation is key. I am currently 7 months into a year and half break....
I CAN'T WAIT TO ROLL IT WILL PROBABLY BE THE BEST ROLL YET I HOPE!!! :)

I haven't done it in a month and a half. and I plan on doing it for a pretttttty long time at least thru my 20's, and probably gettin down with my significant other once and a while when we're old

I plan on using it probably until I am around the age of 30, but who knows. I've slowed down my use a lot and I like it better this way (greater benefits in quality of roll, etc). If I do plan on going past the age of 30 then I would say that it would be a one time a year experience at a music festival or something of the sort.

Though I believe I've gotten all, if not most of the personal growth and emotional benefit I'll ever achieve from MDMA- I don't see myself intentionally stopping my use.

I could see myself likely cutting back to a couple times a year, and making it a more novel experience once I'm 30...40...50 and beyond, but so long as I'm healthy enough to enjoy it, I don't see a reason to quit so long as I'm spacing correctly.

OP: How long has it been since you have used MDMA?

In my early 20s I did it once.
Between 27 and 29 I took about 30 doses.
Most of these experiences were great.
I probably would have been fine to carry on for a while longer, but I reacted violently after abusing it the first time.

Six days apart, I took 3.5 tabs each time.
Then another half the next day.
Then 100mg benedryl 48 hours after that.

The next night should have killed me.
I couldn't believe how serious my reaction was.
I never had any such reaction before this.
In fact, I wasn't experiencing ANY come downs recently.

Maybe it was Serotonin Syndrome.
Whatever the cause, I will not be re-visiting this drug for a LONG time, if ever.
If I do try it again, down the line, I will let Bluelight know how it goes.

My husband have talked about stopping but we love it to much lol. It's helped us both in so many ways. We are 24 right now and plan on rolling every 2-3 months until October. Then we are gonna try for a year break:) I think we will prob try to stop completely around the time we turn 30. Seems like a good age:) <3

Some people start when they are 30. I dont see any reason to discontinue MDMA, but it is definately wise to slow down at some point. Eventually things can get a bit foggy if you are a heavy user.

You should PM FirstBadComedown...he hasnt used much ecstasy in his life but because of the highly sensibility of his brain he has caused TREMENDOUS damage. (Perhaps more then some of the seasoned veteran abuser around this community)

I hope he gets better... <3

Really Splinter?

You both pressure me to post something other than 'rants' and THIS is your response?
That makes a lot of sense...

Now I get it...you just want to badger me in post after post until I go away.
I wonder what the mods will think about that?

Apparently my 'tremendous' brain damage wasn't enough to prevent me from defeating you in arguments, repeatedly.

Strangely, I feel no real need to carry on such a discourse.
I am amazed that you do!

Keep it up, and I will start leaving rat poison around my posts...
Seriously though - haven't you had enough?

We've been doing it already for 3 yrs. The first yr we honeymooned it for 3 months every weekend (obviously bad idea) and we deff felt horrible so we took a yr break which was worth waiting for. Did it several times last summer and again on Halloween. Then waited till new years and just rolled last weekend so a 4 month break. But we r going to an event this summer which is y the 3 mo break and again this Halloween at event... We love it and just feel that almost 10 years of use will b a good ride since we have a family and careers. And after this yr we only plan on it 2x a year. Once at home and once at an event:) it just seems right for us you know... And to( first bad comedown) I've read most of you posts, and I'm truly sorry about what your going through and I love how informative you are! Much <3

I started taking ecstasy in 1989 - I still do it now.
Admittedly not so frequent but I still dabble.
There were longish breaks inbetween - got heavily into the coke scene but the E's/mdma were always there.
I co-operate well, ironically hold down a job giving advice to young kids about drugs etc.
I have a family, all things are good.
it's all about sensible judgment and moderation.
:D

Keep it on topic FBC. It's not always about argument on this site either, it's about helping others learn.
