How long do dope withdrawl cramps last or is this something else?

My husband has been doing heroin for about 3 years straight. He's recently quit and been clean 13 days now but he still has bad stomach pains. He's not dopesick he already detoxed, and i dont think stomach cramps from withdrawl last this long?? If he doesnt eat anything he said his stomach doesnt hurt, but if he eats and digests food he says hes in horrible intenstinal pain and gets heartburn. When he takes a shit he says theres blood in it. Is this just regular pains and what happens to you after u quit hard drugs u've been on for awhile....or is this something more serious like intestinal damage or something?? Btw when he was on dope he never had any stomach cramps or shit blood but whenever he detoxs and comes off it the above symptoms happen.

I mean, if it's serious go see a doctor. However, opiate withdrawal definitely causes stomach cramps, diarrheaa etc... It's par for the course....
Maybe a little loperamide(immodium), bicarb, pepto, IDK....Thirteen days in, hopefully he doesn't go back...
