How long do benzos affect you?

hey all
friday me and my friend got some benzos, and kind of went crazy with them - i didnt remember much that night. anyway, i slept till 7pm saturday, then went out to a party. i smoked a bowl before i went but the high was gone by the time i got to the party. i drank some tequila (3 or 4 shots) and maybe 4 or 5 beers - enough to get me fucked up, but the scary part is that my roommate just told me i was actin real strange when i got home, talking to some girls that had been staying over (who i didnt even think id seen) - and i remember none of it. my question is - i know benzos make u black out when u drink, but would a massive amount of benzos on friday night still be in ym system and make me black out on sat. night??? thanks.

I have another question that is related to bliss is first question. Do you think that the half-life of benzos would affect your memory the day after and also school? I don't know if I have decreased in memory, but I do seem more lazy. Anyone else??

most definitely. ive forgotten so much random shit the last few days. and very lazy, yes. its 5 am i just finished my homework for monday. didnt start till 12 am either...

Valium is one of the long acting benzos , you still feel groggy the next morning, personally.... I think it sucks.

They all "say" valium will have a longer effect, make you feel groggy the next morning, but in my experience, xanax lasts a lot longer, taking 2-3mg at night, in the morning i'm still buzzed...but i took 30mg valium one night, and but buzz wore off before i went to sleep..no feeling in the morning..wierd..but thats just my experience

but maybe i have really weak valium too (its from one of those overseas pharms)

the v cut so called prince valiums make me feel like royalty - i.e. i just lay around and am too pleased with myself/lazy to do anything for days if i pop em like pez.
i def. notice em a few days afterwords if i take like 4 or 5 or if i take 3 or so a few days in a row.

While Valium has a very long half-life, it's not going to cause you to pass out 24 hours after you take it - yes, you will feel a bit hung over, and maybe a little scatter-brained for a couple days..

what's everyone's opinion on the life of a regular dose (.5) of klonopin?

Regular dose of Kpins is .5mg? My dad is a doc, and he started me at 1mg, and that's nothing. It takes me at least 4mg to feel it, 6-8 for any recreation, and I have no tolerance. I just have a natural resistance to all benzo's I guess. At least I don't have any resistance to hydro, I just got some lortab,and 15mg's made me pass the f*ck out

.5mg is the dose you would be started on by any normal doctor, you might pinch 1mg but you're going to be at a MAXIMUM of 3mg per day... sorry, if you need 4mg to even feel anything you have a tollerance!

If your new to this kind of Benzo -
Try (3) x .5mgs = 1.5mgs
This is a relatively high dose of benzos for a first time user!
Thats what I usuallly take. I have been doing Benzos for awhile and there is a tolerance build-up.
But I find if you switch from Benzo to Benzo it helps.
Such as Klonopin -to- Xanax -to- Valium.

Xanax i have a slightly happy buzz or just happy glow for the following day (but only for like 8hours after i wake up) [2mg]
Valium i just feel sorta tired and numb the next day, or two, depending on how much i take (usually 30mg, sometimes 40 or 50 eep!) [and if I try to take valium again within about 2 or 3 days, it takes at least 10 or 20mg more than the previous instance to get the same buzz]
