how long can weed last and if kept in a glass jar?

just wondering,i have some nugs i only smoke occasionaly and bought them 3 months ago but always keep them in jars...will it still last and be good to smoke if i don't smoke frequently?i've only smoked several times from them over the last 3 months and they smoke well,but i'm not in my smoking phase right now so i just wanna keep them and only toke sometimes...

Good choice with the glass jar. It stays fresher sooooo much better and longer then in a bag.

Ive kept shit a few months with basically no freshness loss or minimal if at all

as long as theyre well dried (stem snaps not bends) but not too dry , theyll not only last for an extremely long time but will continue to get better (curing)

A few years ago I found some bud in a little jar in my mom's house, that I estimate I had hidden when I was about 13; so it had been stored for ~8 years or so when I found it, and it was still good. Cracker dry, and not extremely fragrant, but it worked just fine and hadn't gone bad by any means. :D

Make sure to keep it away from light and try not to open the jars to smell it too much, I know that's my biggest problem ..

I've got 3 mason jars. 2 pretty filled & 1 about 1/3 full. The 1/3 full jar is some BR_1947 that my buddy sent me over 3--1/2 yrs ago!! So yeah, if cured correctly (my pal's been growing for decades), the weed will remain good for awhile.
