How long between rolls?

I have read a few things, some say at least 2 weeks between, some say longer, plus i guess it depends on age and frequency of use as well, i mean, i am 28 and have only done mdma about 7 or 8 times, and only had it for the first time in february, so im just wondering if there is an official (if there can be such a thing) amount of time that should be left between, a general rule of thumb if you will.

For me its 2 to 3 weeks usually, but a month or 2 ago i did it on a saturday night at a dnb event and then again on the following friday at a hardcore rave, and those 2 times were probably 2 of my best rolls ever, so im wondering, i know that mdma works by releasing seratonin, so the depleted brain obviously has to replenish that seratonin before you can roll again as no seratonin = no roll, so would it be safe to say that in just under a week the levels must be back to near enough the usual amount, because if they werent then how did i manage a nice roll?

But then im thinking, if im doing it too frequently am i going to get to a point down the line where i cannot roll at all no matter how long i leave it due to tolerance or whatever else, overindulge in the early days of use and lose the magic forever?

Sorry if this is really general but im just curious, as i never want the magical feeling of MDMA to end, and if i can do anything at this quite early stage to keep it going over the years then i will, many thanks in advance. :)

I started in Feb and have only rolled twice, I think you need to tone it down. Most people seem to be fine for a while but then it comes back to haunt them at some point down the line if abuse continues. I just want to avoid any loss of magic/damage completely so I stick to 3 months between - as recommended by Shulgin. 1 Month is what is generally recommended as a minimum here and i'd stick to that - just pick a rave a month to really enjoy and don't go too hard - a good 100-120 dose with one redose at an hour of like 40-60mg. Once its gone just accept thats that, further re-dosing will increase oxidative stress and subsequent risk of damage. I've had 2 great final hour sets from Gammer while i'm afterglowing and naturally buzzing from awesome tunes/mixing, the only problem is achey legs usually.

Cheers my fellow HTID dude :)

I guess it depends when you drop tho as well, when im at RQ im usually in a helping set up capacity to begin with, im normally there well before it starts and am still running around well into the 2nd set depending on whats happening, so i usually drop about midnight or just after, but i find by about 4 or 5 im really running out of puff, the rush has gone, and i dont even know what an afterglow is, i come up, i dance, i feel perfect, then a short perios of sleepy floaty tiredness, maybe slightly dizzy, then its all over and im back to straight normal again, maybe i should drop at about half 1 instead :)

As MDMA is a restricted drug there is no official rules on how long to wait between each drop (and it varies across the globe). It seems the standard advised time to wait is two months but I know for a lot of users (especially in the UK) that isn't the case.

I honestly roll every two weeks. I eat b vitamin complex, 5-htp, and get plenty of sunlight and no matter how many times I drop I'm always floored just as hard and I have not felt any negative effects.

It's basically been said already, but if you want to enjoy MDMA for the rest of your life, I suggest following what Jwills20 said about the SHulgin method.

If you want to party hard now and wouldn't mind at some point the magic being gone, I'd suggest roll away ! ;)

Just wait 1 to 3 months in between rolls. You will thank yourself later. I know its hard now, but if you keep this up you will end up losing at least some of the magic and you will probably start to feel worse too. I know this isnt the case for everyone, but most people who roll every two weeks will get signs of depression not to mention horrible hangovers after 1 or 2 years. It starts of with comedowns being harsher and not quite feeling like yourself and this will only get worse(for most people)

Im taking a 3+ month break myself. Not because im feeling bad or noticing side effects, but because i noticed i need a higher dose to get the same effect and length. I keep my rolls spaced apart 1 to 3 months myself with one exception last year.

Ps. Even tho you feel recovered after 1 or 2 weeks it takes over 3 months for your brain to fully recover.

I try and wait a minimum of a month its hard I know but would rather keep the magic alive. In fact sat is 4 weeks since my last roll and I told my girl yesterday pick a date to roll I need a date to look foward to cause I'm at the 4 week mark and I'm ready to rock and roll!! Well techno and roll but thats not how the saying goes lol. Needless to say she hasn't given me a date yet so I'm gona harp on it until she's fed up and gives me a friggen date!
