how long before you're in Dilaudid w/d?

I've been on an iv hydromorph bsnder for a month or two any where from just 8 to 32 mg a day, all iv
Anyway the night before last was 20ish hours since i had a shot so i figured I'd maybe just use a bit of leftover bupe for a easy(er) come down, took.5 subL to make sure no pwd then shot ~.75mg later that night. Well like 18 our so hours after that my dumbass wen n did three 8s pretty much back to back (shoulda just did them all in one go, or not at all) any way it's twelve plus hours and wd is barely noticeable if any, maybe just no appetite n a stomach cramp. I just figured I'd be sicker by now. Thoughts?
Was gonna jump back on bupe train tonight tomorrow morn n tryn stick it out for a short taper.

Dilaudid has a pretty short half life and method of action especially when taken IV. I have gotten puking sick less then 8 hours after my last shot ffs. I was regularly shooting 54mg`s of dilly in a shot atleast 4 times a day at that point though. If you can go 20 hours without a shot of dilly and not feel too bad count yourself lucky and fucking quit now. Trust me dilly is 1 opiate where it's real easy to go from shooting 8mg's to 50 some odd mg's real fast. The only good news is that the worst of the wd's will be over after 5 days where as with morphine they last more like close to 10 days with a heavy habit.

Yea i know i wasn't doing huge amounts, but that shit is like crack. even if I'm not super sick at 16-18 hours would it be safe to dose a bit of bupe since the Ds should be pretty much gone, or at least not active, our do i still need to be legit sick? Need to take the subs not necessarily for wd but to discourage other drug use.
