So I did a search and saw only one person mention this. He claimed 12 hours because of the fact that codien is turned into morphine is the amount of time you have to wait. I took 7 (I usually take 5) at 8 this morning. Do I got to wait until 8pm if I decide to dose again today? What do you all think?

It's not because Codeine is turned into Morphine that you need to wait to redose, but because Codeine itself actually inhibits the enzyme that's needed to convert it to Morphine.

There's a lot of debate at the moment that Morphine only plays an extremely small part in the effects of Codeine, and it's more likely to be C6G (Codeine-6-Glucuronide) that gives Codeine it's analgesic effects and possibly some of the euphoria too.

Anyway, I think 12 hours is a good enough time to wait until you redose :) The longer you wait, the less likely you are to have your lack of enzymes posing a problem ;)
