how long after vicodin can i take xanax?

I just took a 7.5 mg vicodin. Tomorrow morning i gotta go on a long drive so I'll need a xanax. I take .5mg to ward off a panic attack. I have no tolerance for either. Will that cause any problems?
I tried searching, but i only find questions on them taken together for a better high.

Ya think so? I was gonna call a pharmacist. But i might look/be stupid. I get so paranoid about mixing drugs, but this will be about 20 hours since taking the vicodin. Ill be on a trip with family, so i wouldn't want to spoil anyones fun if they needed to call an ambulance cause i stopped breathing or some shit.

Plus, my anxiety is already ramped up thinking about this long drive, fucking stupid ass anxiety. Makes me a god damn pussy.
