So yesterday I took 30mg of methadone and got an ok buzz from it, now I can get Norcos. My question is that since it has only been about 13 hours since my last methadone dose, if i take Hydrocodone now will i feel the good buzz that i usually do or should i wait for more of the methadone to leave my system before doing so to feel full effects? Thanks

The half-life, according to Wikipedia, is 36-55 hours. So in technical terms the Methadone should still be in your system at full force, I'd wait another day or two considering its high affinity. You'll probably waste your pills.
Then again, I'm no Methadone expert, so if someone else wants to chime in...

Yea I was wondering even though I only dosed at 30mg will my receptors be completely flooded by methadone? I heard it takes daily use of 60 or more mg for a week or more for it to have the blocking effect

Methadone even at 30mg will decrease the effects of other opioids (exactly how long and how much varies from person to person and of course also depends on whether you took it just once or chronically, but even taking it once will usually substantially decrease the effects of opioids for a good chunk of time). I also would be cautious because the respiratory depression from methadone can outlast the "high" so you are still at risk of OD by adding other opioids on top of the methadone that's in your system.
