how long after taking hydromorphone is it safe to use valium? and vice versa

i take roughly 4mg dilaudid spread out throughout the day insufflated and was wondering how long after my last dose (roughly 8-9pm) would it be safe to take 0.5mg valium? and could i take my hydromorphone dose when i wake up in the AM (roughly 8-9am). i know valium has a long half life and i’m really not trying to combine the two just looking for a help sleeping as i’ve had some real shit sleep the last 3 weeks and it’s catching up to me

Hydromorphone has a short half life so id think youd be ok after 4 hours

Sorry this isn't answering your question. But what exactly Is hydromorphone? I love my opiates but only recently have heard of this
