How long after taking amphetamines is it safe to take opiates?

I'm asking because i'm nervous as hell about mixing an upper and downer so I won't do that, but say I take 30mg adderall now, would I be good to take 2 of my norco 10-325's and 1 of my somas in about say, 8 hours??

I decided after reading up that it is safe, and since this is the last time I will probably have any sort of amphetamine that I would try the combination of 30mg Adderall and just 5 mg of Hydrocodone (instead of my normal 40mg). Took the hydro about 25 minutes ago and i'm feeling alright.

I guess this can be closed now.

Stimulants and Opioids together are no more toxic than either drug by themselves...

However, the danger with stimulants and opioids being mixed is the classic Stimulant+Depressant symptom masking...

Basically, if you overdose on opioids, and take a stimulant with it... You will appear fine, but if the stimulant wears off while you are experiencing an opioid overdose, the respiratory depression is unmasked, and suddenly you just died thinking that your dosage was okay

As long as you don't take too much of one, or the other, you should be fine, there's no waiting time period needed
