I am prescribed 60mg XR Adderall. I don't take them everyday, only when I'm going to classes. My primary prescribed me 50mg tramadol also for my hips, because my SI joint is always getting enflamed and giving my alot of pain. He told me not to take them together b.c the risk of seizures. Well i never asked him how long to wait to take the tramadol after the adderall so the Adderall doesn't react with it and/or is out of my system? I would rather be safe then sorry. I can't call the Dr b.c hes out on vacation for a week and my hip is killing me, I can barely move sometimes. Please if someone knows how long it would take for the Adderall to not interact with the Tramadol, please let me know.!

I have an idea of a decent window, but I feel unqualified to offer advice. Your best bet is to call a 24 hour pharmacy (I'm sure you can locate one - even if it isn't in your area, there are plenty open elsewhere). Pharmacists are well-trained on such interactions and can give you better information to keep you safe. The dose you have taken of adderall and the dose you will take of tramadol are also key.

This drug interaction is supposed to be avoided, so i would only take Tramadol on days that you don't take Adderall.
