Opioids How long after stopping Lexapro can I take Tramadol?

I know SSRIs should not be taken with Tramadol and I was wondering how long I should wait after taking my last Lexapro before I can take Tramadol without the risk of Serotonin Syndrome? Thanks!

I've taken 20 mg. of Lexapro a day for 6 months and I plan to take 150 mg. of Tramadol.

I would play it on the safe side. Isn't the "washout period" for SSRIs like a week or two?

As long as you havent dosed your lex today, youll be good to take the tram.

NT-yea, it is, but with that relatively moderate dose of tramadol it shouldn't be a problem. I have done exactly this many times without issue.

I would only recommend waiting more until you dose your tramadol if you are hypersensitive to the lexapro or its side effects or tramadols side effects for that matter.

If you've already taken your lexapro today then you're best advised to wait till tmrw before dosing the tramadol.i mean.... you could get away with taking both in the same day, but you're risking serotonin syndrome, which is not worth it IMHO.
