How long after smoking until you feel totally clear headed?

In rehab they told me the residual effects subside after 6 months, but I have heard 18 months too. This is for daily heavy use though. Still in a slight fog.

No Offense but cannaboids unbind after 30 days at most (furthers I'll go on that as this topic is off limits on specifics), so I would like to see one peer edited study on that. I've read peer edited and published studies and tests on the brain, specifically the hippocampus, and effects can last up to 2-3 months, but major, noticeable effects, diminish after the 30 day period.

OP:

One month (28-30 days depending upon body fat percent and metabolism, as well as brain chemistry activity in CB/CB2 receptor sites) has been the general consensus from many journals I've read in the past on PsycINFO or PsycJOURNALS database -which I do not have access to over the summer as I do not have a valid psychologist login, sorry. I am trying to get access for my own learning over the summer, however.

I generally feel sober completely within 24 hours. I am sure there are many with me. The general "high" lasts me about 5 hours, I generally only smoke grade A or hash.

if i eat, within a couple hours i'll start to sober up. i've been smomking daily for over a year though.

back in the day i would feel groggy the next morning, almost slightly high some days, while other days it would feel like i was just a little slow or off unless i had some caffeine.

High for about 3 hours after smoking a tiny amount of white widow. I still felt minor effects all the way into the next day.

0 tolerance.

I'm usually back to baseline within 1-2 hours, 3 hours if I smoke a lot more than usual or I'm coming off a break.

This is how weed tolerance works for me. I have a very high tolerance now, and i still get extremely high each time how ever. The time span which the high lasts is much lower now, so i'll be high for around 1 hour and 20 then i'm pretty much sober.

My tolerance is exactly the same, i still get just as high as i ever did but the duration is significantly diminished. I used to stay high for 4~5 hours but now it's much more like 1 hour!

Took me about a week or more of not smoking to become completely clear headed. Maybe its because I used to smoke so much I dk.

Yea I'm sure quitting my daily smoking habit would make me feel a lot different both mentally and physically, but it's just too hard to stop and not worth it at this point.

Lately I haven't been achieving too good of a high. I think this is a result of the last three weeks where I have smoked down nearly a gram everyday or every other day of some dank. If my tolerance is low my high will usually last around 4-6 hours with maybe an hour of a little daze. If we smoked down while I have a low tolerance then my high usually will run over to the next day but only on minute levels.

Hopefully over the course of this next coming month of June I could cut smoking out altogether and just take a much needed toke break.

Everytime I take a tolerance break I start to feel "sharper" around midway through day 2, obviously not everyone is the same so your mileage may vary.

When I quit daily smoking I went pretty much psychotic for about one week, and returned to normal after around 6 months, even now small amounts of weed will effect me heavily for a good week or so after one smoking session. I was a VERY heavy daily smoker though.

Left me with horrible anxiety and paranoia

High: 2-7hrs depending on how good the weed is and how much I smoke--before tolerance, I would always last 6+ hours

It usually takes 6-12 hours for me to feel completely sober though. Usually this requires I sleep it off for the night until I am fine in the morning.
