How long after smoking until you feel totally clear headed?

Hey all,

Pretty self explanatory title really. Takes me a good few hours, sometimes it lasts till the next day. How about you guys?
 
Well for me it all depends on the bud, with a strong body high i feel it for a good 3 hours but, only high for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
With a nice head high it takes me anywhere from 45mins to 2hours to be able to feel sober.

ALTHOUGH this September i smoked about half a joint and was high for legit 5 hours, but, prior to that i hadn't smoked in 8 months so this bring me to believe the length of a high depends on 5 things.
1. Setting (where you are, including ; whether and such)
2. If you eat or not ( if you eat your high dies faster)
3. Your THC stains (type of bud)
4. Tolerance (how long it has been since your prior usage)
5.Method of administration ( bong, vape, joint, brownies)
 
My highs last for about an hour and vary in intensity depending on type of herb.

When I used to have no tolerance, I could stay high for a few hours easily, but as the tolerance built the highs got shorter.

I can agree with this. There are usually a few variables at play.
 
When I started, I wouldn't remember how long I was high for.

Now, it varies with how much I've smoked for the day, if I'm having a good day, etc.

yeah a few factors are at play, I'd say for me about an hour and a half or two hours.
 
This is an interesting discussion question, but I think it's widely subjective and will greatly vary person to person. For me, due to tolerance and excessive daily use, it tends to be relatively quick, but I have friends who even get a "weed hangover" into the next day. YMMV with this one.
 
About 2 hours. But after been on weed daily for a couple of days it's gettin reduced to maybe an hour before it's time for another one. Guess OT, but after sharing brownies containing 5grams och hasch with a friend a while ago I slept for 48 hours, that was pretty insane..=)
 
i would say i never feel totally clear headed until after i have had a full nights rest. a good long nap after a meal with leave me pretty clear headed after i wake up too. but usually i still feel half burnt until 3-4 hours after my high has gone away. maybe i'm just perma-stoned now.
 
1 j = an hour....a blunt about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. depends on howmuch i smoke.
 
Over 4 hours, maybe 6.

When I started (about 10 years ago) I used to feel it into the next day.

If you mean one unit (one bowl, joint, bong, or basically whatever it takes you to get high) I find that lingering effects may last in to the next day. If you mean after smoking regularly for a while it takes me days. Sometimes even a week or two.
 
Guess I'm pretty lucky ...as long as I don't pig out my high will normally last at least 5-6 hours, and then I'll have a kind of lingering sedation. Lasted even longer when I first started though I do have an unusually low tolerance (at least compared to my friends).
 
if i've smoke in the last 6 hours im high for an hour
if i havent smoked in 24 hours im high for 2 hours
if its been 2 days or more im high for a good 2.5 hours or even longer depending on how long i havent smoked. its insane how fast i lose my tolerance LOL.
 
depends on my mood, nutrition,sleep patterns, wut strain and how potant the green, and tolerance. that being said it usually ranges from 1hour-5hours

after eating hash its like a few days to get back lol-but then my tolerance goes way up soo yea
 
if i smoke a bowl and stop, 1-2 hours but still burnt out for a bit. but the more i smoke in a day the longer i feel burnt out by the end
