How long after drinking alcohol until i can pop?

I took 60mg adderall today and felt a nice buzz, but am coming down and feeling very tired and out of it. Im debating on whether to take my benzos, but would rather save them until tonight considering I only have 2mg xanax, and would rather take them tonight but was going to drink some alcohol.

I know the risks between taking benzos and alcohol and was just wondering what would be an appropraite time to take the benzos after the alcohol has worn off (2-3 hours?)

Say i start drinking (and by drinking I mean buzzing not getting shitfaced) at 6:00pm, and stop at 8 pm, would I be able to take my xanax at 11ish??

Please mods keep this open as id like to hear peoples different expieriences.

Many people go nuts on Xanax with little to no apparent toxicity. I'm sure you'll b fine with .5 or 1 mg. I've taken low dose diazepam after alcohol & they mixed quite well in fact.

I won't close this, but these dosing/timing/combining questions are more suited for the basic drug discussion forum so I'm going to toss it over there.

If you are tolerant to the benzos and know how they affect you then I'd say your timeline is fine. You metabolize approximately 1 drink per hour so you can easily figure out when you've cleared it if you want it to be completely out. Alternatively, a small amount of alcohol with a small amount of benzos isn't excessively dangerous but I'd advise that you reduce your dose of one or both to compensate for the synergistic effect they'll have.
