Heroin How long after drinking alcohol can you "safely" take heroin?

How long should I wait after drinking can I use heroin? I will have ingested between 5 and 10 shots of vodka. How long after the final shot will it be ok to use smack? I always drink while on coke, and will use heroin for the comedown.

I don't think you will be able to safely use the H for the comedown. By the time the alcohol wore off enough to safely take your regular dose you would most likely already be almost past the comedown.

you probably have to wait at least five to six hours for the alcohol to leave your system and that is with plenty of water and food. This mix would be extremely hard on your heart being a speedball. With not only cocaine, alcohol, and heroin but also cocaethylene which is made by the liver when ingesting alcohol with cocaine. three out of the four of these substances are very cardio toxic.

it might be tough but you should probably just ride out the comedown without any other drugs.
 
Its almost impossible for anyone to tell you the exact moment you will be fine to use heroin. In my case i could do heroin while drinking just as long as im not too drunk, or just do less dope then i would have to do if im a little bit to drunk to do my normal amount. All depends on how much you can handle alcohol, how drunk you are, your tolerance to dope, how much your planning on doing, etc..Just remember its always best to be safe then sorry, if you don't know if you can handle it or not just simply save the dope for when you don't feel drunk anymore. Opiates / opioid and alcohol can be a scary mix because they both slow down your respiratory system. Also both drugs will increase the strength of each other so you always have to take that into consideration when you choose amounts and time to use.
 
6 hours minimum... I mean.. if you dont weigh much and drank 9 shots..... and dont drink much.. even 6 hours could be too early to do dope.. If your a bigger guy/girl, drink regularly.. and its only 5 shots.. I feel like 6 hours would be plenty of time... I feel like I would need more details to recommend anything less than 12 hours.
 
As we all know heroin is an opioid just like several others and they all act the same. Just different in intensities and duration.

At my methadone clinic if you blow a .4 or more you cannot get dosed until you are a .3 or less, obviously that tells me mixing opiates is "neutrally safe" with a BAC Of .3 or less, I don't know how many drinks that's equal to. But do math and judge by that, by the time you read this im sure my post is pointless
 
Personally, I did dope drunk all the time, so did my buddy I lived with. He drank nearly a bottle of wine a night and would blast about .3 right before bed (going to sleep drunk mind you) he was looking for the syngergistic affect of it to help him stay asleep.

I use to just do it for kicks but I never drank much, maybe one or two mixed drinks... a nice buzz... I tried once really drunk but I couldnt see straight and didn't want to waste my shot on an accidental IM
 
^ true I would always see clinic patients drinking alcohol in big cups all morning outside the clinic at the train stations,delta sonic! while washing down Xanax
 
I would be VERY careful about mixing heroin with alcohol. A lot of heroin users end up overdosing by combining the two. Between 5 and 10 shots of vodka? That's a LOT of alcohol.

I would wait until the alcohol has worn off before taking heroin. It MIGHT be okay to take ONE drink with opiates, but that's my maximum. You could end up having a very adverse and scary reaction that could send you to the E.R. Or you might even end up dead. Caution should really be used when combining alcohol and heroin, even if you are waiting until you think that the alcohol has 'worn off'. (Alcohol can really be tricky in the fact that even when you are 'legally drunk" (.08 BAC) you can still feel perfectly 'sober'. So please be careful!
