I had a few drinks (8 oz. of 20 % abv) about 7 or 8 hours ago. I don't think it would be an issue if I were to take a fiorinal (aspirin/butalbital/caffeine) now, but I want to be certain there is no risk. By the way, I have no tolerance to alcohol/barbs/benzos. Would this be okay?

Not necessarily true. If you get very drunk you can have noticeable amounts of alcohol in your system for one or two days, and I'm not talking about the hangover or any of that shit.
