Hello all,

Me again! :hai:

I was just wondering how long after a few days ~6 of constant diazepam and clonazepam use should I wait to safetly use opioids like DHC? I plan on doing the benzos first and the DHC later and "only" taking about 150mg of it with about 50mg of cyclizine (or should I do 100mg? The dosing info of cyclizine online is virtually non-existant).

Anyway, to get to my point, how long after the clonazepam and diazepam has built up in my system should I wait until I can safely do the DHC? I know diazepam has a crazy half-life of about:

(50 h); 20–100 h (32–200 h for main active metabolite desmethyldiazepam)[10][8][9]
and I've been told that you have to wait 5 successive half lives in order for a drug to be completly eliminated from your system. So that's what, possibly 41 days to be safe? Is that seriously how long it takes?

On the other hand, I've also heard that ~12 hours is fine and if you want to be on the safe side of things wait a few days but anything above a week is overkill. PsychonautWiki lists the aftereffects as 12-36 hours for diazepam and for clonazepam it's 8-48 hours. So, about 5 days and I should be good/safe, to do the DHC, right? But then again due to long periods of abuse about a ~week there will be some residual build of both drugs and their *active* metabolites in my system so I don't know if that has any bearing on how long to wait.

Oh and FYI, my benzo tolerance is absolutely insane and my opioid/opiate tolerance is 0. I've never taken one before (apart from some codeine nearly half a decade ago) so I'm as I'm concerned I'm as opiate/opioid naïve as it gets! Hopefully about to change though. ;^)

Thanks all!
:D

It's hard to say as each individual eliminates drugs at different rates. But considering you have zero tolerance to opioids I would wait at least a few days to a week just to be safe
