How to kill bacteria in old Suboxone solution?

I have 2 rigs with solution that I mixed several weeks ago. I used sterile water, suboxone, and .1 micron filter. The solution is still crystal clear, but I know there has got to be bacteria in it. My question is, is there any possible way to kill the bacteria in the solution for safe injection?

Yeah, I wasn't sure if anyone has ever tried adding .07 isopropynol or anything to kill the bacteria.

My only thought would be to run it through a fresh micron? And I'm not even sure if that will work. I feel like I heard somewhere that adding bezyl alcohol afterwards isn't really a viable option because even if you kill the bacteria, they are still there along with whatever byproducts and waste they produce. You can use a benzyl alcohol/water solution to store it initially, as bacteriostatic water. But I'm not sure what you can do at this point to reverse the situation.

re-filter with a 0.2 micron, or
boiling for 15 seconds or
short wave UV light from a mercury lamp or
X-ray or gamma irradiation

these will not remove any bacterial toxins present from possible growth

benzyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol will not sterilise it. benzyl alcohol only prevents existing bacteria from growing. isopropanol must be used in a very high concentration - it works by dissolving cell membranes and also drawing water out of cells.

The solution is still crystal clear, but I know there has got to be bacteria in it.

if it has been micron filtered to start, and stored in a sterile container with minimal exposure to the elements, it's probably more sterile than you'd think.

if you made up the shot and stored it in a new, clean syringe, it is probably safe to use if you simply re-filter it. if you want to be 100% sure you should throw it out & re-prepare it, or take the needle off and snort/plug/sublingual it.

I'll tell you something, as long as your hands are clean and the solution hasn't come in contact with anything dirty, its fine. There is bacteria in it, and there always will be, just not near enough to overtake your immune system. People shoot up with unheated solution all the time, unless its got a VERY high bacterial count, you'll be fine. I saw a guy inject water from a public toilet without heating it, and apparently he was doing it a lot.

It makes me cringe thinking about injecting Suboxone, even with a micron-filter. Is it REALLY that much better than the films??? The way I do it, between gum and cheek, letting little saliva touch it, gets me pretty darn high with 4mg.

How did this turn out? I am having trouble finding benzyl alcohol so if some one can pm me? thanks

the benzyl alcohol would have had to been added at the time of creation of the solution, for use as a preservative. I don't know how well it kills bacteria after the fact. If I were in your shoes and I had absolutely no way of obtaining fresh buprenorphine, I would of course try to get more bupre first, but if you can't do so, re-micron with a 0.2um filter and RECTALLY administer the solution.

I'm sorry but you can't inject solution that's been stored improperly, without benzyl alcohol, that's been sitting in a syringe for WEEKS. Sorry, that's just not safe by ANY means. No need to inject buprenorphine either, it's well absorbed via the rectal ROA.

Benzyl Alcohol can be found in a matter of seconds via Google or common online marketplaces such as Amazon.com.
