How is the weather where you are today?

Oh the humanity! It's the weather thread for the goodness of sakes. 😁
I am having some anxiety and real bone chilling weather.
The polar vortex is not as elastic as it used to be and it stretches down farther than normal trend, not circular any more and has curves and bends in it. Resulting in the extemes in weather from one extreme to another simultaneously. And on and on. Also it brings down with it in specific regions completely unprecedented cold temperatures that are a bit challenging and could cause torturous and dangerous conditions.
It has been staying kind of normal for a while but has been collapsing once again.
Oh it was cold today. The wind IS bone chilling and was a bit painful.
Ah cmon nothing dangerous about that.
If skinny little me can jump into -10°C water, you can take a little semi-cold wind.
Ur a fighter, right?!

its coldddddd , my ovaries are frozen
That would require an impressive amount of cold,
and for you to be dead.

IKR!!! ive been in minus 17 but tht was with wind chill.... gets a hula hoop to make a slush
-17 FAHRENHEIT?!
That would be a climate I still need to see, up to -30°C
If the whole Corona thing is ever gone I'ma start my trip to Norway already.
I love weather below -15°C, love the ice cold air, the no insects, the view, the mountains, mmhm

Honey, I'm a nerd about anything.
We can calculate how a football flies all day if you're up to it

and that was 17 degrees my bad, with wind...never been below zero
Ah, that's below zero in Celsius though. -8°C
That's a normal winter temp here give or take, though sometimes much much colder. That's pretty nice

Well, it's understandable. People used to warmer climates are having a hard time with cold. Spain was an eye-opener to me, when all the Spanish people started putting on jackets and one even a wool hat at 20°C/68°F at night

I was fucking perplexed, my ex gf and I were still sitting there in bathing clothes, contemplating to bathe in the ocean again :ROFLMAO: and the Spanish were all like "are you crazy? It's so cold"

You don't even wanna know real cold, guys :ROFLMAO:

i do love cold water even w/o 3mm wetsuit.....i stayed out too long in the sea free diving(pretty shallow 10 , 15 feet) but when i came in i was by the fire and could not stop shivering for good hour or so, but i can handle the cold sea, odd i know, but i get entranced in the ocean

ppppppft i was in bullhead city AZ long ago, it was 121 degrees, the lizards ran up right,it was prolly 100 in the shade, im reptilian
Yeah that's me, dead. No I remember similar temps from Spain. I just need to stay hydrated as fuck, and stay in the shadows, so I don't pass out from the Hades outside.

Diving is pretty cool, I've done some in Andalusia. Loved diving in the ocean, I can absolutely understand getting lost there. Too bad we don't have an ocean anywhere nearby. Closest opportunity is down in Italy.

Shivering for an hour sounds bad, I hate that feeling. I remember we once went driving bicycles into the lake in February(as kids!), which is about -10°C/14F cold at that time. I shivered for days :ROFLMAO: worth it though

5°C = cold :ROFLMAO:
I like you. You should take a vacation here when the winter really starts.
You'd never freeze at 5°C again, I swear to you
@December Flower , Where are you located?? I hope Summers are Beautiful?
Winter does not sound to "Sporty"
You do have mountains for fun winter sports?
I went to school in CO. love to ski. But as I have aged no more first chair in morning ( wiping the snow off first chair:)
Now called a Powder puff, only ski in Utah and Spring :ROFLMAO:

gets pretty warm in the summer, actually, up to 30°C, sometimes more
winters are ice cold though

I'm not exactly a fan of the ocean. It's so dirty, man
Up here the water is essentially fresh mountain piss.

It's fucking beautiful to watch though and listen to, just not exactly my place to bathe in.
