How is AMT different from 5-meo-AMT?

I was looking into acquiring AMT and during my research stumbled across 5-meo-AMT. I have tried foxy(5-meo-DIPT) and just got pretty sick. I have read all the trip reports, but I don't want to end up getting the wrong one.Thanks.
 
AMT has been around a lot longer and many people have tried it compared to the 5-meo. so finding good information on 5-meo is hard to come by. i'd put my money in AMT until more research is done with 5-meo.
