is it possible to determine the purity of solution that contain lsd? mybe useing ph indector?

A solid dissolved in a liquid would deal with concentration rather than purity, you'd be looking for how much LSD (a mass) would be dissolved in how much water/other solvent (a volume).

And as far as I'm aware there's no simple household way to determine that.

you'd be able to find the concentration if you knew the pH of the solution, and the Ka of LSD. But all I can find is someone says the ph is "about 4" which isn't particularly helpful, because the conc. wasn't stated.
I'm still looking though.

edit, apparently pka(lsd)=7.8

[lsd] =(10^-pH)^2/ 10^-7.8

which would give conc. in mol/litre

then get mass from molar mass.

This assumes the liquid is pure water, and is likely to turn out totally wrong

edit2: so for 100ug/ml, the pH would be 5.65

That only works if there's nothing else in the solution though, and if you know that they've got the ph perfectly balanced...

Yeah true. It would never really work, I just get a bit worked up.. revising for chemistry exams and whatnot

Could you take an exact volume of the solution (i.e. one mL) and let it evaporate, then with good enough scales weigh what is left over?

that wouldn't tell you the purity though, just that mass of stuff there, whatever that stuff may be.
