Cocaine How high is the overdose potential from IV Coke? (Just had a bit of a scare)

So I recently got a gram of this fire coke. I've been snorting it in fairly fat lines with no problem. I've only tried IV coke a couple times (a couple years ago) and from what I remember it was pretty underwhelming. I mainly mixed just a little bit in with some IV oxycodone to increase the rush.

Anyway, I've been curious but kind of scared to try it because I had a similar scare the last time I tried IV meth (never doing that again.) I also have some heroin though, which I shot about 4 hours ago now (1 bag east coast powder IV by itself with minimal tolerance... no coke in that shot) and you know how heroin gives you that "fuck it" mindset so I gave IV coke a go (by itself... I haven't used any more heroin.) I started with a fairly small dose of coke and, again felt pretty underwhelmed. No real rush to speak of, just a strangely calm sense of euphoria. I thought... this is nice.

Well about 15-20 minutes later I wanted another shot lol. I did this one bigger. I could actually taste the numbness of the coke in the back of my throat kind of like a miniture version of a drip I would get from snorting it. Now, I'm not sure what you guys mean by "bellringer" but I have an A/C vent in my bathroom and once I shot it, the sound of that vent got really distorted... I maybe also had a very slight ringing in my ear but it was the sound of that vent that stood out.

I definietly got a rush this time but I can't say I really enjoyed it. My heart was beating I'm sure way too fast (no chest pain though luckily) and I felt so overwhelmed and had to just lay down on my bathroom floor preying that I would be OK (and I'm not even religous... not even sure if there is a god but I got pretty scared.) I'm not sure how else to describe it, it was just like an "oh fuck, too intense!" type feeling... similar to how IV meth made me feel last time but the coke was worse/scarrier and at least the meth gave me more euphoria.

I feel fine now, thank god. Still high from the coke but no more of that super intense feeling.

So yea, I'm definietly never doing that again. No more IV coke and no more IV meth. I'm well versed in IV opiates and I've never had anything close to a scare like those two.

I guess my question is... you know the normal way to rate how dangerous a drug is, is how much of a difference the LD50 is from a normal recreational dose. Like... marijuana it's a joint vs a football field. Oxycodone could be like 20mg vs 100mg (just a guess here.) What's the danger zone for IV coke? The thing is, even that "big" last shot I took... I could have snorted a line two or three times that size and been totally fine.

EDIT: Another question: Would the heroin have contributed to this scare? I didn't mix the two in a shot... like I said my last shot of heroin was like 4 hours ago. Also, I'm definietly not going to try it at this point, but how does a speedball feel? (coke and heroin in a single shot) I definetly like the heroin rush better... just a super euphoric tightness in your chest followed by a warm numbness spreading across your whole body and you just sit back and say "ahhhhh" instead of "oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck" like coke.

Potential for overdose depends on a lot of things... tolerance, product quality, change in environment, etc. As with all IV drugs, the risk of OD'ing becomes much greater.

With IV coke in particular, the line between "Oh shit that's an awesome bellringer" and OD'ing is very thin. Often times after we take a shot of coke and were totally blown away and satisfied, it was because we were very near that line.

im a firm believer that shooting coke is like playing russian rouelette, it is a street drug, and we never will know how pure it is, or what is cut with it until we try it, IV style. i have had coke that looked identical before, and one was like 3x more potent then the other batch, but looked identical, smelled identical, etc..i am used to shooting 0.3g and getting a good comfortable rush without feeling lke im going to have a heart attack, so on another occassion, i score more coke, same dealer, product looks identical to his regular shit, but when i IVed 0.3g, the rush was intense, i was vomiting, i became deaf from the bell ringer effect, i freaked out, my heart was pounding, i was getting tingles and lightheadedness all over, i threw myself out of my car onto the snow (i for some odd reason always run to water or ice or a bathroom when i feel like im going to overdose from an IV stimulant. thinking the ice or cold water will cool my body temperature and make it go away, and obviously my anxiety of thinking "oh shit i fucked up im going to die tonight" will only make matters worse for me as im naturally going to spike my vitals by the instant worry. for me, if i IV coke, and its weak, im left disappointed, but if i IV coke, and the rush is way too intense to be pleasurable and perhaps maybe very dangerous, i get scared im going to die, so its real hard for ME, to find that "medium" IV dose, which is hard to due with street drugs, impurities, quality, etc..maybe all i was suffering was severe panic attacks, but all i know is the rush was way to intense to enjoy, and scares the shit out of me. so nowadays i avoid shooting coke, unless its right in front of my face. shooting crack is a waste IMO, i think u need more crack to get high when IVing, verse smoking i think u need less to get high. so thats out the picture, yes acidics break it down into HCL cocaine,but it just doesnt feel the same, unless its great quality crack, where i can smell the acetone thru the bag, and a match-head size hits gives me bell ringers, now smoking crack, i RARELY get "too intense of a rush where i fear my life" its only when IVing cocaine/ or good crack. im personally not a fan of speedballing, mixing heroin and cocaine in one shot, the coke overrides the heroin and im left feigning and not calm from the dope, so at instances where i do mix, i IV coke, and IV heroin to come down, its funny sometimes i dont wanna comedown from the coke, even when i have bundles of heroin on me knowing i can totally make myself feel better, stims are evil. rats chose cocaine over food and water..that shows cocaine for humans too is soo addictive and dangerous it overrrides our natural instincts, and im just not cool with cocaine right now. i dont bother snorting it, because most powder i buy is garbage..and if eel like since i used the needle, the buzz i wont get from snorting,...so i think cocaine is bad bad news, other then overdose risks, its pretty hard on ur CNS system
