Fuck dude, that sucks! Glad you're ok. Didn't you just have a bad accident within the last year or so? Or am I thinking of someone else..

Just happened this past Monday leaving the MMT clinic. Thanks for the concern man it's been buying painful.

Can you feel hydromorphone while on MMT?
Actually some of the time I get a slight warm hydro rush since they're giving me methadone via 10mg tablets in increments of 30mg. I'm in so much pain I can use all the opioids I can get. The methadone pills definitely feel more potent than my MMT liquid.

*Sorry if it's duplicated I'm on this damn mobile version and I can't tell if it the first one posted

^I got u bro. Merged. :)

Sorry to hear that happened man. Hope it all heals well and you don't suffer any permanent damage... Hang in there!!

Now you deleted your post. Meh. If you want me to undelete just lmk.
Anyway, I hope you can manage the pain with MMT, because we all know where harder opiates lead eventually for people like us.

Small shot of H. Either this stuff is really strong, or my tolerance dropped significantly more than I had anticipated from my 2 week long break. I hope it's both. =D
Feeling very good off a small shot.

Thanks my dude! I will definitely be dealing w more chronic pain issues from here on out.

Thank God you didn't end up worse than you did man. Not trying to be a dick or say I wouldn't be guilty of this myself, but please don't think of this accident as a ticket to getting chronic pain meds for the foreseeable future. I'm not saying don't use the medication as you need it for the next months, but I've known multiple CPP and they ALL say they would rather go back and take the route that ultimately leads to pain "recovery" in a sense rather than a temporary relief of pain.

Again I don't mean to be a dick with that comment, but I'm the type to consider the future in situations. (Not saying I've always made the right choices, being an addict) Just take some time and think where you ultimately want to end up down the road.

50mg methadone
Coffee
4 6% abv beers

Should be seeing my bar connect for a few either tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah man you can undelete it if it's not a hassle so I don't sound all discombobulated haha.

Yeah they lead to a hellish dependence that's takes up every aspect of our lives...

@Effect, you're definitely right it's certainly tempting to take the easy way out and find a sleazy pain mgmt clinic.

You're missing his point a little---with your new injuries, you wouldn't have to go to sleazy clinics. You could go to the nice place, be treated like a human being, and still get mass amounts of opiates. His advice is not to take that too liberally, since it would impede your actual recovery.

I'd generally agree too. Get as much non-pharma treatment as you can--physical therapy, rehab, acupuncture, etc.

I also can't figure out how to undelete a post.

Oh okay, I went back over it and I see what he meant now (I'm a tad sleep deprived from being in the hospital). I would certainly love to have my pain mgmt treated fairly and humanely instead of being treated like junkie cattle at some of these low end MMT clinics.

Don't know why I couldn't word it out that way myself. Exactly my point. Don't let your new found "ticket" (hate to put it like that) to legal pharmaceuticals get in the way of actually rehabilitating yourself. Trust me, I get it's easier said than done for many of us.

Brewing a pot of coffee.

^ with the read pain that he has you won't have to worry about it, he will do everything possible to lessen the pain. for me getting off my opiated ass and walking everyday even though it made the pain worse initially was a pathway to recovery and freeing myself of the grips of fent patches. Very small baby steps in actity.

I'm no doctor, but my spine surgeon told me it didn't matter if i did PT shortly after surgery. I waited 8 months to begin it to give myself ample time to recover wihout irrating itto

With what is going on with the opioids crackdown and hating I would be very worried about the future of pain mngmt. at least there will always be dope around depite a wall which is supposed to block it from coming.

ot: adderall and 1g of kratom....ie Kraterall (R)

That sucks that you got in such a wreck, HYH. I'm glad you were able to come out of it OK (not dead or severely braindamaged). Have you been given an estimate on how long your stay will be? I know a lot of broken bones are generally 6 weeks of healing time. Get better soon!

Topham, you got any recommendations for a hard cider?

You're in Boston, so I'd go with Angry Orchard. Magner's and Strongbow are also good choices. Ciders tend to be more expensive than beers. Avoid real fruity ones IMO, you'll be getting the sugar of wine without the booze content. 2 Towns Cider from OR makes a 10.5%er, if you can find that, I think it's called The Bad Apple, maybe try it. In general I go for more dry ciders.

OT: Beer. Life's been slow lately. Not complaining in the least.

I undeleted the one that mattered already. You just click 'view post', then select it as you would a normal post, then go to the mod options at the bottom of the page and select 'undelete post', easy peasy. ive tried and failed one too many times to still ever believe it possible for me

^Dunno what I meant with the bold bit, I was fucking noddy as hell when I wrote it. Just saying.

OT: Nice and high on the H and 2,5mg lorazepam. I know I should steer clear from opiates, but I'm in quite a bit of pain when I do, and I just generally feel depressed because of it (on top of the direct effects from quitting opioids which are quite depressing on their own already). I'm just having a hard time managing my pain without opioids and I can't use the goddamn things responsibly. Too noddy to continue typing right now. Wasted enough time on this post as is.

Good night fellas <3

Holy shit HYH I'm sorry to hear about that, that's some serious stuff right there. I wish you a good recovery, hopefully you get a hot nurse to feed you dope all day (but damn that's a lot of broken bones I couldn't even imagine...).

But in all seriousness Effect brings up a good point. A steady supply of pain meds sounds both amazing and terrifying.

OT:
2mg buprenorphine
1.5mg Etizolam

I've allowed myself 2 cheat days to get fucked up and this is numero dos

It's excruciating man. The physical therapy Nazis made me get up the first morning after surgery (after getting metal rods hammered into my body) and stand up w a walker and get to a chair. I had tears running down my eyes and my body was trembling w pain.... And yes the availability of decent pain mgmt is both a blessing and potentially a curse. Although at this rate I'll pass on the pain from hell itself.

OT: IV 2mg hydromorphone + IV 5mg valium + 600mg gabapentin

That's fuckin terrible. My buddy has just one rod in his leg and he says it still bothers him when he walks like 6+ months later. Nazi was the right word to use there for that kinda shit. Once again, I couldn't even fathom existing, let alone walking, after sustaining what you did. Also your poor car, Challengers are damn sexy vehicles
