How heavy/long was your "abuse period" of E use?

I've never really had an "abuse period"; I've just always kinda done MDMA every once in a while (like a few times a year). I always do 3-4 pills followed up by one more 3-4 hours later. I don't roll that often, but when I do I wanna roll hard as shit. After all, that's the point, right?

man from late 2005 to mid 2006 i took x up to 5 times a week at doses starting around 4 pills hard to quantify how many i took prolly 250 over 7months its hard to say if i can roll anymore bc all i get is bunk sh1t now but the chemicals in the pills i was taking definitely has fucked with me
 
Hmm for me it depends...sometimes I would do 1 pill for the whole year and other times I would do over 5-6-7 pills a night for weeks straight...very scattered.
 
Latest binge was a few months ago, 4-5 pills every weekend for a month and did a week long binge, which of about 20 pills in a 6 day span. Lost a ton of weight and didn't really feel like myself for over a month. The break seem to being me back to normal and I've returned to normal bi monthly ritual of 2 pills every other weekend. Everything in moderation....
 
Holy shit I started this thread a long time ago and didn't think much of it but coming back to BL and seeing it still on the front page startled me.

I read all the stories. Despite me still abiding to the "once a month" (ok, maybe once every 3 weeks... shhh) rule, I cannot help but get taken aback by so many "I dropped every day for X time" stories. I believe I'd have the will power to stop myself before it came to a consistent, weekly basis but I can really relate to the words typed... It's easy for anyone to get sucked into the world of E.

I started pilling regularly this past spring/summer and accelerated quickly to 4-6 pills a night each friday and saturday night. Ate a little over 100 pills since last labor day...shit got nuts and now I'm back down to 3-4pills once-ish a week. Getting etarded is kinda lame but better than methamp. fallout. I'm just glad I cut back enough that the fog lifts within a couple days like it should. Before the cut-back I would hardly ever really get grounded completely from the last weekend before the next one started: R-A-V-E ~ M-O-A-R!
 
I have taken 800+ hits of MDMA / Ecstasy (70 percent) and Amphetamine / Methamphetamine (30 percent) over a period of two years. During this time I was also a polydrug user which included the following substances: Alcohol, 2CB, Cocaine, GHB, Ketamine, LSD, Mushrooms and Marijuana.

I was a weekend binge user, taking an average of three pills a night.

I am now nearly five months sober and I feel great. :)

I had a few months between March and August of really, really abusing e's and doing a lot of speed. My friends and boyfriend were all doing it at the same time too, so we used to bulk buy and went from doing one a night to about 12, sometimes several nights in a row. We used to get them really cheap, so it always worked out lower in cost to pill it than go out drinking.

Got a very large amount once with my boyfriend and decided to get fucked. Dunno about anyone else but when they're infront of me, I can't stop. Point is, after this big long night of abuse, and several "this is my last one"s, we were fucked until about 9 the next morning. After the worst comedown of our lives, and being bed ridden for several days, we got them out and counted them. Between us we'd took about 60, and we were both petrified that we'd done some real damage and were going to die.

Anyway, the abuse ended after that and from August onwards we've only really done about 6 a night, fortnightly or sometimes even once every few months.
 
For all of 2004 and 2005 I was rolling 2-4 times a month. In 2006 I slowed down to like once every 2 months and now in 2007 I've only rolled 3 times. I don't plan to roll again this year. I had some significant problems with memory that lasted for many months after my abuse period. Also, depression was bad for me for a long time after abusing E.

Now that I don't roll very often I've run into the problem that since I've lost all my connections, when I goto a rave I always get TERRIBLE pills. Last time I rolled I swore it would be the last time, but after like 3-6 months I always want to roll again and it's been about 4 months at the moment.

Is it possible to be a very occasional (2x a year or so) raver and still have a good time? Has anyone else been at the point that I am?

this is very sad please dont hate on me cause i kno this was real bad... but while i was 'movin' them thangs which lasted only about two months, id drop almost every day, roll all day and night, prob on average 5 pills a day, four days out of the week for two months... yeah i didnt see a prob with it until my parents found a fifty bad of orange butterflies... which the flushed in front of my eyes, ouch.. yeah and i had to stop doing e cause they attmepted to ground me, but i totally went a long with their punishment and for about two weeks of no e after a two month binge, i was extremely depressed, it was right before christmas too which sucked even more, i felt terrible to what i did to my family, not myself so much because i knew that once i stopped id experience this depression due to pretty much the almost total deplesion of seritonin... i will say though that those two months were quite fun, i made a lot of friends, had a lot of sex, heard the 4th dimension to a lot of music and actually kicked off my 'career' making rap beats for underground rappers around cincinnati... but yeah, all in all, i dont recommend the level of use that i did.. call me an e-tard.. but really all it was was that i didnt have to pay for a single pill i ate because i got an extremely solid hookup like, 6.75 a pill to be exact when bought in bulk more than fifty, $10 a pill less than fifty.. but whatev, i just roll every once in a while now maybe twice a month, if that.

Still doing it, been a few months now. I am trying to stop though, I can already notice some problems with my short term memory, and I find that my nightly consumption when I roll is much higher then it should be.

Ideally I want to cut back to once a month, 2-3 a roll.
 
from august of 06 to somewhere around april of 07 i ate between 60 and 75 pills.
delicious.
never did more than a triple drop though,
but i have done it two or three nights in a row.
there's nothing like coming to in a parked car with your feet on the ceiling, your fingers in your hair and the radio blasting while the person next to you starts asking if you're level 23 yet.

I love how everybody blames the pills for going "bunk" after a certain amount of time. I've seen really old school people say pills started sucking in the early 90s, others claim early 2000s and others even more recently. Does it never occur to people that once you use E enough time it simply isn't going to be the same anymore?
