this is part of the first verse to a track im doing. I won't bother explaining the whole concept because with only this portion of it it's not necessary... but yet, let me know what ya think!
he was a curious cat, never quite satisfied
always feeling a drive to push deeper inside
the inner eye would defy a lie and wonder why
he'd uncover mysterys and existential history
he'd find the beauty in life, even when he was lost
but the gloss of his reality began to wear off
a dull shade of grey now envelops his day
knowing how the clouds form won't take them away
the warm glow of the sun becomes a UV ray
and every moment of fun becomes a fake escape
so now a flower aint a flower no more
and every girl is a whore
the cynicism of a skeptic now torn and frayed,
worn away like his belief in fate
theres no right and wrong just eternal debate
no truth or fiction just shades of grey
he starts questioning how he was made this way
and his brain floats back to that fateful day
two and a half years ago on decemeber 8th
