How have your weed highs changed since using psychedelics? (attention stoner hippies)

Last night the residual effects of my psychedelic use really became apparent. After a few hazey bowls I shut out the lights and tried getting to sleep, sleep didn't come for a while as I was tripping my ass off looking at the lights and fractally goodness imposed on my vision. It reminded me a lot of my most recent trip except the visuals didn't move at all, just kind of slowly faded in and out and became more intense before falling asleep. For me there is a DEFINITE visual patterning effect whenever I smoke weed now. I actually got visuals on my first weed high so I suppose I am more sensitive to the psychedelic effects of Cannabis.

Since using psychedelic drugs how has your Cannabis usage been effected? Do you notice a difference?

I have seen a few of my friends from HS get really bad flashbacks when we would smoke.. they would stop in their tracks and look like they were being electrocuted.. but I used to get alcohol from this hippie when i was like 16..., i would smoke with him for the favor..., everytime we smoked he would start making noises and start moving his hands very oddly and shakey... really creeeeepy.... But uh yeah after about 20 times he finally told me dont ever abuse L because this is wat can happen.. sorry if this doesnt help ya

the weed def. induced the other effects bc he was normal until midway thru the Blunt or whatever it was... It was pretty scary to be honest..

I never even enjoyed weed in the slightest before tripping on psychedelics. Tripping completely changed weed for me, and now getting stoned can be a beautiful thing. Although honestly it's still my least favorite, out of all the common drugs I've ever tried.

I love the both on their own, and combined. For me the two have always nicely complimented each other. Unless I take pychs with no weed and then smash a few big ones about a few hours in, then things can get a little hectic, and yes I have definitely noticed since using psyches weed has been different, the visual aspect is usually dependent on how tired I am when I smoke, and how strong the weed is and what kind.

when i use to trip i found that one of the benefits was that smoking dope was more pleasurable and i would need considerably less for about 2-3 days after tripping. When i was tripping i would be smoking through out the trip.

After taking psychs, if I smoke a looot I get some patterns in my field of vision and other general trippy feelings. However, I usually feel a little uncomfortable at the same time, so it's not always welcome.

I've also noticed that in the few days after a trip, my tolerance shoots way up. I just don't seem to get as high, or the high isn't a lot more one-dimensional. But then my tolerance falls back down to normal, so it's okay.

The introspection from potent sativas seems to have increased for me since tripping, and I'll occasionally get some visuals (although there have been one or two occurrences when I had visuals from weed before ever taking psychedelics) - particularly if I've tripped recently. Indicas seem pretty much unchanged for me.

IME, the cannabis experience hasn't changed much other than my appreciation of it, my ability to control it with set/ setting, etc.

The only drugs i have used aside from weed is acid, alcohol and Vicodin. I think i have a good tolerance level for all my uses and i havent noticed a difference in my highs, im pretty friendly on all drugs..more excited about things and more enthusiasm towards very small things. my weed high is the same i believe.

as said above after i began taking LSD i felt i had better highs

one time i smoked and then tried to get to sleep and i closed my eyes and saw this floating head of someone i know but it was more monkey like and the tongue stuck in and out and the ears popped out and back in all at the same time; it was a nice surprise, the general feel of THE HEAD was very positive

I may be atypical in this respect but ever since I used a lot of JWH compounds for about a year, cannabis affects me much more intensely. Not only that but the effects have become far more psychotic and unpleasant. I had to stop using the JWH compounds due to mild psychosis effects (hearing the wrong things, or hearing things that weren't said, and general psychedelic thinking when not using).

Psychedelics and cannabis have always been a delight. The only drawback is when you do a lot of a psychedelic, in particular LSD for me, it seems to really cut through the high from the weed.

^I've also noticed that I usually have a higher weed tolerance after taking psychs. I guess it's because psychs provide a more immersive experience (imo), so then when you smoke after, it seems shallower. Just a thought.

I don't get really get the paranoid mind effect from smoking pot when I am on a psych or in the day after use.

I certainly have a bit higher tolerance after psych use as well, but to bring a more scientific explanation to what Axed said, I think it is because psychedelics (excluding pot) have some overlap points with what pot stimulates in the brain. Restated, pot will have less of an effect if the euphoria and thought-stimulating pathways in the brain have been heavily activated in recent time.

Of course, this does not leave out the possibility to get extra baked during an exceptionally strong day-after-glow period when there is residual psychedelic still floating around the bloodstream. =P

I actually get some OEV's on weed now after using 2c-e a bunch, I used to just get CEV's on it but, and some minor 'impressions' of OEV's, but now I see OEV's that are clear as day, its pretty cool.
