how hard would it be to kick methadone with these meds

I went cold turkey from 100mg of methadone a day as well. I ended up overdosing after taking 160mg and woke up in the ER in precipitated withdrawals because of the Narcan shot. It was hell, try and taper if you can.

The hardest part about quitting opiates is PAWS. Good luck.

you stay drunk for 6 days and tell me how long it takes u to feel normal again ,im really badly allergic to alcohol but it makes me feel fucking awesome

if i get drunk one night i wake up shaking and puking(well dry heaving) anxiety attacks and so on ,couldnt eat or sleep,sweating so i kept on drinking everyday from the time i awoke till the time i passed out ...i have made it close to 30 days drinking all day long chugging the alcohol...worst thing was i couldnt eat so i lost alot of weight

when i stayed drunk for almost 30days i didnt sleep for 9 days ..shook so fucking bad my g/f had to hold the cup cause i shook the tea out of the cup...so yea lets not go there ,i know i need to stay away from it ,cause the doctor told me i looked like i had been an alcohol for 20+ years from my liver enzyme count,milk thistle help get it back down to just 10 over

i had binge drank since i was 14,and i was only 22 when i had the blood tests,i went till my body gave out


anyway i just took 20mg of methadone today and its keeping me well ,i can go a few days inbetween doses so thats what i do ,if i did 100mg right now i would be OUT for the whole day....

You became an alcoholic in 6 days? You sure man?
If I were an alcoholic i'd take offense to that statement.
Addiction comes with doing activities associated with the substance. not just physical. Alcohol is legal because....well I dont know why it is and other drugs are not, but one thing alcohol does not do is trap you in 6 days. eh forget it lol

I can believe that 6 days of heavy non stop drinking could cause the shakes..

I agree with other people here who said wait till you get the benzo's. When I got off methadone, I didn't really feel that shitty until I got to about 5 days without a dose. From what I hear, the best way is to taper down really low with it, then maybe jump on to suboxone for a while, though you might not want to do that.
