How good is the pot in your area on average?

In canada weed is pretty good .

We don't get these bricks that you Americans speak if so much .

I'm in Ontario and the typical commercial strain is M39 which is actually an awsome strain if cured properly.

Exo strains are also easy to get (obviously for a higher price)

One thing which is hard to find that isn't in the USA are medical strains .

medical strains. high thc content. sativas plus indica plus hybrids. I love my local dispensary. I can go there and get my medicine and be home in under 15 minutes. I have to use medical mj to substitute for the xanax I can't get without going to the doctor and I'm laid off so I can't go to the doctor for a script... doctor appointmentss are expensive...and this is working out.

if dispensaries have midgrades, I've never been able to find high grades street side. I imagine Snoop gets wicked good nuggs, but for mortals, I don't know that you can get better marijuana than what's available in the dispensaries... especially some of the deluxe ones in Los Angeles.

I've been smoking for two years, so I can only answer one of the basic questions. I live in Ontario. Here, it's $6-12 a gram, always bud, decent to very good, and more often than not I think Sativa-dominant. Too general?

probably too specific. I don't think we can talk about prices but damn man, you're prices per gram are about half what I pay! DAMN!!

after growing for at least 20 years before being busted i grew awsome weed.
Stumbled on a trifole that was so good it reaked so bad my friends could smell it when i opend up my cig pack all the way across the scateing rink when i played so i crossed it with skunk northern lights and big bud to cut the smell down and the weed was wicked .
I say hydro is better only because if you know what yer doing you can constantly keep the ph at the rite levels all the time and add all the extras vitamin b and nutrients etc.
But you can grow just as good outdoors if you keep a watch on yer ph and as long as the weed gets enough light and nutrients its all good ,just depends on the strain....
My 2 cents....
OH YA ! i do remember the good old days of columbian rather known as lumbo and the columbian gold.seemed that was all that was around back then-the 80s........
And where i was from gold seal black hash along with blonde and others were always around at least as much as weed maybe more, same with oil..
Now ya wanna talk honey oil, besides making it yerself which is a pain in the ass period needing iether etc havent seen the real thing since grade 9 ,that was the last time i seen it and im 43 so do the math........

Once every coupla months, for a few weeks, we get something nice like Pot of Gold or Bubblegum, but usually we get midgrade green, and sometimes there's "thai" (african or portuguese most likely, it's def not Jamaican) bushweed going about.

Mostly seems to be Indica weed too - hardly ever see Sativas unless I grew it, or one of my friends did. :(

THe hashes that are available are better on average than most of the bud going around - they are beautiful, at the moment there are 5/6 different grades <3for

Here can get Skunk 1, Blueberry and Cheese atm and a load of standard outdoor bud. For hash I can get, Moroccan 00, Afghan Black, Lebanese Blonde, Moroccan Commercial, Pakistani Black. Most buds standard or hi grade is indica dominant. Except for the Thai stick that comes in which is nice tho not like the hi grades.

IMO soil grown cannabis has a certain element to it that hydroponically grown stuff lacks - I can't quiet put my finger on it, but in my experiences I do prefer personally taken care of, well grown indoors than mostly set & forget hydro. Probably just tasting the love.

You should try organic hydroponic weed (and that's not a typo) ;)

anybody weigh in on nashville? we got that fire here. couldnt find reg if I tried. its all extremely high grade or slightly less. right now I think got something called 'gold deisel'....I think. Guy tells me some stupid name every time......think he's makin em up.

Hash comes around every now and then but not often. I only like hash as a compliment to my bud.........dont like it alone. So I never really try to grab unless im swimming in cash.........which is never the case.......ever.

Memphis has everything from ghetto brick shwag to high grade indoor chronic, also mids are around ,much from outdoor growers, some from other places. My definition of mids is good sinsemilla=no seeds and a potentcy of 7-8%thc or above, which is twice or more than shwag weed, although I personally do not know the THC % 's for the weed around..lol..I smoke only high grade, indoor shit or BC Bud or Cali. bud..Gotta few friends and family members with big gardens in Cali and nearby in a state near me also..I know a med MJ dispensary owner in Cali...Time to visit California I think...

It all depends on who you know..

I know people who insist on saying that there's no truly good weed around, just average shit that's decent at best.. Then again, for me, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find low-grade herbs (for cooking). I'm only to get medical strains that are normally had in the west coast (cali), while I live in south florida.

It's all about networking my friend

South florida is a good place to be my friend ;D, for a good three years I also had the same problem with not being to find anything less then grade A pot in my opinion. That has changed now and I am happily making "special" vegan brownies for all my friends c:

I live in Northern California, and the weed here is amazing. I was actually kind of disappointed when I visited SoCal this summer, for I smoked schwag for the first time in my 4 year career.

I live in colorado about 30 mins outside of denver and the weed here is amazing. And thats and understatement. Ranging from PKUSH, FLO, and infamously, THE BIO_DIESEL. Hands down colorado has the best herb around. Its small grow opps that have hundreds of hours of TLC. As opposed to the mass production out in cali that has no individual care. Just my opinion.
