How glamorizing drugs is killing black kids

I have issues with the title of this. I understand that some rappers while talking about making it in the projects and what not like to center on saying that the only way they make it is by selling and stealing and shit. But as most music, it is open to interpretation to more than just the african american community. There are plenty of ghettos in America that that have drug problems related and not limited to the spanish, whites, and asians. These communities also listen to rap and can get the central message of how selling drugs is "cool" and an extremely lucrative business.

Let's not confuse one another by using the term 'crime' to reflect our morality; it reflects the law.

Civil disobedience is not necessarily criminal behavior.

See what concerns me is that you used the word crime. Not me. So if anyone is confused here, it is most certainly you.

..I too don't consider civil disobedience criminal behavior. I was insinuating that the tactics used to fight segregation 50 years ago are easily replicated in present day, i.e. prohibition.

Drinking out of a certain drinking fountain or sitting in a certain seat were crimes if you were black.

To say it was not a crime, because it was moral, would be a terrible disservice to people who lived under those laws.

When I heard someone say police should be looking for criminals and not drug users, I pointed out that, because it is against the law, it is a crime; a warning not to mince words.
