Opioids How effective is CWE?

I may be getting some Tylenol 3's this weekend, and would like to mix a moderately low dose with some alcohol. I am not talking 5 or 6 shots, but maybe 2 and 8 ounces of wine or champagne with 150 mg of codeine (last time I tried it I had a mild opiate effect). I would drink over time and am careful with stuff like that.

However I am unsure of whether CWE is effective, I would be a little bit scared taking apap with alcohol if it failed. Am I worrying too much, or should I just do the codeine and save the alcohol? If I do the codeine alone I will probably do 180mg and bump it to 210mg if it doesn't work well enough. How well should I expect a CWE to work if I use the coffee filter and ice cold water combo? If it failed I would probably need to go to the hospital with the amount of apap in the codeine pills (30/300 ratio).

So if I have any kind of intelligence and can follow those direction well, I can drink with my codeine?

in my experience, yes, assuming the pill to water ratio is reasonable, and the water is cold it's fairly hard to fuck up. considering you are only using 5 t3's anyway, i wouldn't worry too much. follow the CWE guidelines and you'll be fine. you may find you get a bit nauseous with the wine-opiate combo mind you, but with such low doses of each i wouldn't worry about any real damage.

just have a question...how much should the pill/water ratio be for 10 pills.
I have seen people say 50ml for 10 pills.......and some say 20ml 10 pills...... kinda confused. need help.

So if I have any kind of intelligence and can follow those direction well, I can drink with my codeine?
Make sure to take less codeine than you would if you were just taking codeine and not drinking. Both codeine and alcohol are central nervous system depressants, so mixing the two increases the effects, such as increased sedation and increased risk of overdose.

If I didn't screw up the math, you'd only be taking 2.1 grams of APAP tops. That's a lot, but even with three shots of alcohol, you'd probably be just fine. So yes, a CWE should be more than enough to protect you from liver failure.

My concern is that you sound like a new user, so I don't see much good of a new user mixing alcohol and CNS depressants. You don't sound like you're using very much of either though, so you should be alright.

As for the proper amount of water to use, always use more than you think you need. If you use more water than you need, its not a big deal. If you use less water than you need, you just wasted a bunch of codeine. I'd go for 50mL.

So say you had 10 pills and that would be 20ml of water? In the final product after all codeine is dissolved in water and outher crap filtered out, there would be hardly any water left to drink, seems like it wouldnt even effect ? or is the water actually still good just very potent

20 mL of water doesn't seem like much, but in a CWE, it's quite potent if the CWE is done properly. Basically, the more water there is, the more likely APAP is to dissolve in the water, even though APAP is pretty insoluble in water. Like I said in an earlier post 2-4 mL of water per tablet worked quite nicely for me in all the CWEs I had done over the years. When in doubt, add a bit more water, but not much. The key thing to remember is that you want to minimize the amount of APAP that can potentially get into the solution. Codeine/hydrocodone/oxycodone are all quite soluble in water, so even 20 mL of water can hold a LOT of these compounds. To put it into perspective:

Aspirin 1g / 100 ml (Solubility in 31C water) 1g / 300ml (Solubility in 21C water)

Acetaminophen 1g / 70 ml (Solubility in 31C water) 1g / 150 ml (Solubility in 21 C water)

Codeine 1g / 2.3 ml (Solubility in 31C water) 1g / 0.7 ml (Solubility in 21C water)

As can be seen, you can get a lot of codeine in 1 mL of water.
