I understand the LSD is a psychoactive drug but other than the brain does it cause any other problems with the body. I've also heard that it's one of the safest drugs you can do. I just really wanted to know what all it does to you.

Physically, LSD is one of the safest drugs there is. It does no damage to organs, there have been no known deaths from overdose, and it isn't physically addictive. Most other drugs do have these risks, but that doesn't mean LSD is risk free. The mental aspect of psychedelics can be dangerous when used irresponsibly. Read the beginners FAQ http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=559054 . Take care of set & setting and you have covered most bases.

Yeah man Theres really not alot of physical damage with Lsd But there nothing to worry about compared to how fucked up and ill you can become ive seen some people cried of happiness on it.... and people who are in mental hospital... dont be scared but be aware of the risk..

being "aware of" ridiculous exaggerations and horror stories that are mostly fabricated is only going to make him likely to psyche himself out for a bad trip

THIS.

I can't believe this nonsense still goes around... even with existence of the www.

Let's not go black and white here. Mentally and physically healthy people will probably never suffer adverse effects from LSD or any other similar psychedelic, as long as they are responsible users.
However, there are endless accounts of people who become psychotic and delusional on small doses of far milder drugs, so saying that a power horse like LSD is completely safe is very, very misleading.
As we all know, metal illnesses are often inactive until life events make them surface. Generally speaking, single uses of LSD carry very little inherent risk even for people with preschizophrenia symptoms, but it's certainly still there.

i have noticed that whenever i trip i get lower back pain is this normal ?

Probably just body load, spasms or cramps. Back pain could be a psychosomatic symptom as well, but no one here has the authority to diagnose stuff like that. How bad is it? Psychoneuroimmunological lower back pains could be caused by stress and anxiety, and might be stronger while you trip. Take a look at your diet, exercise routine, and lifestyle. Maybe you can try to improve on those and see if there's a difference.
But anyways, it's probably just a benign effect of the drug.

it's not bad its just discomfort really, but i notice it every time that i drop so i was wondering if it is common

muscle tension. your body will respond with a startle reaction, pulling your shoulders up, neck forward, etc. stretch. relax.
