There's an old joke where a white preacher is visited by an angel after he has been particularly vehement about the evils of the coloured races and how women lead men into sin and the angel says, "I've got some bad news for you about God... She's Black!" :D
Jehovah is a feminine name according to the ending of it. God in the bible says 'us' when he talks about Adam and Eve perhaps becoming immortal. Ashtoreth (sp?) was God's wife. Nephilim came to Earth and interbred with human women.
So many stories in the Judaic texts contradict the idea of only One God and many show signs of female identity. So what is true?
The Cathar heresy was that God is female (part of their heresy) The Knights Templar and the Priory of Sion both held John the Baptist as the messiah and Jesus as a disciple who took over after John was beheaded. Jesus seems to have been the offspring of 3 different royal lines, which is why he had to be got rid of - God's son was not one of the claims, but 'King of the Jews' was.
All these things can be found if we go looking beyond the catechisms and dogma of the various churches.
But all the gurus, messiahs and prophet types have told us our path is a personal one, between each individual and the (insert deity/realm name) so any time someone stands up and starts telling us the path to (insert deity/realm name) they are full of it - I think this is the reason said if we meet him on the road to kill him - he was saying if someone claims to be me they are a fake.
If I am wrong, I am content to take what I might have coming, but should there be some bearded grandfather sitting in judgement I will have a few words to say about culpability and criminal intent. :D
