i just went through and "unfriended" like a 100 people.... i want my "facebook friends" to at least be people i can remember meeting...
I've been on Facebook since 2009 and out of 2,600 "friends" I actually know about 70 in real life. The other people are into metal and clubbing like I am, so that's our basic link.
So dyou just add random people you don't know on there because you've got stuff in common? Like do you actually talk to them on the chat or something? (don't mean to sound condescending, I'm genuinely curious).
Huh okay. I'd never thought of facebook as being a website to do that but sounds pretty cool.
I used to use myspace for this, but I keep my facebook fairly private. I still network on it like mad, with people I've either met or spoken to for a long time on a forum like BL or somewhere else.
It's good for spreading good words, music, keeping in touch with my homies, and networking for stuff I need help with in the future - gurus, travel, business, artists, musicians and bands, DJs, tattooists, old teachers, parents of friends, very few people I haven't actually met.
Lol, you think only your friends can view your info.? Do you use "Instagram"? How about "applications"? Have you adjusted the privacy settings for those applications? Have all of your friends?Yeah, I only use facebook for friends, people I know (like went to school with or live in the same dorm as, etc) and I've got a couple good BL friends on there but I wouldn't go further than that in terms of people I don't actually know IRL. There's a ton of pics and info about me on there so I'd get nervous if I wasn't sure who was seeing it.
