I know THAT is raises it, but I am wondering why. What is going on in your body that causes it to become warmer? I know this seems like a stupid question, but I can't find an answer online. Even if I takes it at home in a cool room and don't move around a lot I still get hot and sweat.

Looks like cocaine stops your body from dissipating heat, by reducing sweating and constricting blood vessels otherwise used for heat exchange in the skin. It also alters your perception of temperature.

It's also a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, which increases metabolic rate somewhat.
