Opioids How does codeine tolerance work?

SWIM had never had codeine or anything like that before. Then the other day SWIM had 50ml of Rikodeine which had
about 100mg Dihydrocodeine and about 22mg of Sorbitol. Because it was a low dose the Sorbitol had no effect on SWIM, just the Dihydrocodeine. How quickly does a codeine tolerance build up? How long before SWIM could have the same amount and feel it the same?

We don't swim here. Opiates are very addictive, use them very sparingly and if you do that, which is VERY hard to do for some people, tolerance shouldn't build quickly.

Opiate tolerance builds very fast, you'll notice it when dosing on consecutive days

Space it out a few days between doses thats what i do although i can only get codeine otc here in canada i envy you for having dihydro
