I'm not sure if it has been mentioned and I'm also in Australia where medications are available and relatively affordable, but I always keep a small stock of ondansetron wafers (also called zofran). They are a very powerful anti emetic, used previously for patients undergoing chemotherapy and also during pregnancy to help treat hyperemesis gravidarum. They are available by prescription here in 4 and 8mg wafers. Taken sublingually (under the tongue) they work very quickly.
I am scarred by a couple of previous instances in my home of norovirus which is a nasty gastro bug, my kids got it from school and then 12 hrs later I got it way worse. I can't explain the terror I feel at experiencing that again, so yeah, zofran is always in the house.
As for the other stuff, I'm glad you've got a plan, and I hope you're still on track (I'm a couple of months late from your last post (which was posted on my mum's birthday, incidentally )
