One of my favorite things to do is wake up bright and early, make myself a nice tasty cup of coffee and smoke myself a bowl, the combo kicks ass. It's like a mini speedball. You get the stoney high effects of the weed, and the awake/alert/functional effects of the caffiene, plus the overall euphoric feeling of just waking up to a bright sunny morning...ya know.... %)
However, that's usually with just one cup, then I call it quits on the coffee. Lately, now that I'm working again, I'm easily putting back 3-4 cups a day. I took a two week break from weed (because my tolerance was too high) and after that, stuck to a strict rule of not smoking a lot or often to keep the tolerance down, and it was working well! One bowl would make me feel fantastic, it was like a total reset.
Then I started working, and like I said, I now put back 3-4 cups of coffee a day. I suddenly noticed my tolerance building back up RAPIDLY, and now that first bowl in the morning makes me feel good still, but I feel like it quickly wears off (about only 45 mins). I usually have my first cup of coffee about 20 mins after the first bong rip. I then have another 2-3 cups before 12:00.
Do you think that coffee kills your high? Since I started drinking a lot more coffee, I feel like my tolerance shot through the roof very quickly...
