How do you smoke after a tolerance break?

I recently went from an all day smoker (1-2 grams a day) to a bowl every night before sleep. I noticed a decent change in tolerance, and I would get to a good level for sleep after just one bowl. However, in the last two weeks, money has been tight, and I haven't smoked at all in 12 days, which is my longest tolerance break since I started smoking regularly. Well, Saturday I get a paycheck and I plan on getting a few grams.

At first I was planning on conserving my bud and only smoking before bed. But then again, I haven't been completely stoned in quite a while, so I figured I might as well go all-out once before conserving again.

I was wondering, how do you guys smoke after a tolerance break? Do you try to keep your tolerance down? Or do you just dive in head first and continuously smoke until you're good and baked?
 
I usually overdose and feel uncomfortable when I've had a long tolerance break. After that I continue smoking as usual, tolerance usually catches up with me really fast these days.
 
Well you took a pretty short tolerance break, so like Toz said it'll go back up pretty fast if you go back to smoking a lot to celebrate.
When I took a year+ off smoking it took me months to get back to anything close to my old tolerance (and even then, better).

I'd say just smoke til you're high enough, and make that your usual goal. The easiest way to raise your tolerance is to always try to get REALLY high and smoke fat blunts or smoke bowl after bowl or take huge dabs when it's really just overdoing it.
 
Always goes one of two ways, with the same end result. Either:


- Start with a gram
- Smoke a bowl and get super fried
- Eat the kitchen.
- Smoke another bowl and go to sleep
- Wake up with a highover and the desire to regain the high
- Buy an 8th or a quarter
- Burn through it over the weekend
- Monday morning I'm out of "play money," tired and still want to smoke

OR


- Buy an 8th or a quarter
- All day/night smoke session, with the intent to store away a gram for later on in the week
- Burn through all my weed
- Go to my stash spot and pull out the safety gram
- Smoke that shit, I'm out of play money, tired and still want to smoke





T-breaks fuck me over every time. The loss of tolerance also makes me lose my familiarity with the substance, and completely throws out any notion of self-moderation.

That's a personal problem, though.
