How do you say to "cannabis" in your language? (french, spanish, italian, ..)

I am interessted how do you call "cannabis" in your language?

In Germany (and Switzerland or Austria) we say to cannabis mostly: "Weed" or "Gras"

How is it about in other languages like Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, etc ?

And is there a difference between the US and UK?

In my experience, in Canada:

English: "pot," "weed," or "marijuana."

French: "pot," "mari," "weed," or "marijuana." As you can see, there's a lot of overlap.

I'm fairly sure you refer to weed as 'le shit' in French. No joke, that's the actual slang that's used. Might just refer to hash though, but I'm fairly sure that's it.

In Japanese cannabis is 大麻(tai-ma) and the second character is literally a shed with two hemp plants hanging from the roof.

The Dutch gave it a little personalization.

Weed became 'Wiet' slightly diff pronounced, like the English word seat.
Hash was written as Hasj but they sound about the same.

Mota Focka just popped my mind.

LOL JK25 hahahaha "jo te poes"

Ganja, weed, bud, buddha, kaya, flavours, herb, parsley, and if its in biiiig amounts "food" haha.
