How do you rate focalin to adderall?

I recently discovered dexylmethylphenidate and absolutely love it. It's apparently a souped up ritalin but feels nothing like it. I am under the impression it contains no amp but SURE feels like it. Prefer it to addy's hand down. How do you guys feel about it in comparison?
 
if you snort it you get these tingles in your arms and legs that feel kind of nice.

the first time i did adderall, it was so euphoric. now it's not as euphoric for me. haven't had focalin in awhile and didnt really get a chance to do a thorough comparison on the two, but focalin definitely feels better than ritalin.
 
^thanks. Amphetamine just makes me too edgy but the focalin not as much. Just seem to feel the positive aspects of amp without the downsides. Find it very pleasant...
 
i'd definitely be down to try some dexedrine or desoxyn tho. that shit sounds tight.
 
ive never taken them to get high but i took them as medicine because i have adhd i was wondering if i could get high ive heard if you have adhd you cant does ne1 kno?
 
i think you can, you just gotta take a little bit more tho.
 
Focalin is the best form of ritalin i've tried.... Oh and chewing up those daytrana patches is fun too. otherwise bring the admiral
 
Best form of ritalin (See above comment) ? Isn't it a completely different substance ? They're both similar-both stimulants used to treat ADHD/ADD - but different.

No, though, I've never tried it. However, after reading all these posts, I'd like to ! And will !
 
focalin is great, i definitely prefer it to adderall.
ritalin on the other hand, i can't do that shit without some type of downer, and not even for the come down, but to make the high less tense.
 
Focalin is smooth as a baby's ass for an upper.

Ritalin will have me sweating balls in this intense comedown, that is like my whole body is shit.

In terms of all uppers, Dexedrine is good!!!!!!

Yes you do get high off them. I have legitimate ADD (ADHD isn't much different). If I take them several days in a row, I do not get high off them, but if you take them every once in a while, yes you do get a nice high! What drugs were you looking for? For ADD, stay away from shitty stuff like Strattera, get something nice like Adderall!

I have ADD as well and it's exactly the same for me. If i dose my amps daily, i feel balanced. If i take them after a 4-5 day break, i feel different - a little high.. they don't make me tweak tho

I've wanted to try focalin but wasn't sure if it was still fairly expensive. Is there any way to compare the potency of focalin to meth/d-amp AD(H)D scripts? I'll be going to my psych again soon, so i'm weighing my options
(i'm definitely getting off the vyvanse; too many side-effects)

dont let that fool you tho. one time i practically OD'ed on it. my heart was racing a million miles per hour and my blood pressure skyrocketed. i had to lie down on the ground while trying not to lose consciousness and told the people that i was with to call an ambulance if i passed out. it was some scary shit man.
 
focalin sucks ass compared to adderall... but I use these things to study quite often... I even get headaches from focalin that I don't get from Adderall.:\
 
I'm gonna have to try focalin again, when I did it it just gave me a panic attack, maybe I just did too much. In my experience ritalin, adderall, and obviously dexedrine were smoother and superior to focalin. If it really is supposed to be a smoother ritalin I'll have to try it again sometime.
 
Focalin is basically Ritalin. Ritalin is both l and d-methylphenidate. The l form is the weaker of the two, but it last substantially longer, leading to brutal comedowns.

Focalin is just the d form, it is stronger, but doesn't last as long as Ritalin, this is why it only comes in an XR form. If Focalin was an IR form, you would have to take massive amounts of doses everyday.
