Well it is funny u mention this. My curtains come down alot because of my cats and general Tom Foolery. Also, I don't like my nosey neighbors seeing in my house, but do like sunlight. Generally speaking though, I have curtains that are hung on regular curtain rods. I know that some purchase quite expensive curtains, but mine are old and passed on from my MIL. I worked with a nurse who spend like an entire week looking at material for custom curtains. It was going to cost thousands of dollars when it was done. Curtains can really make a home look quite sharp if you put that kind of money into it, but honestly I found it ludicrous. There I am trying to support a family of 4 and she was looking to buy thousand dollar curtains. She divorced her real estate/house flipper husband the following year, but I understand she is getting some nice alimony.
